TV Commentary:

Smallville- So this ep featured the return of Hawkman and Plastique, and the appearance of Cat Grant (who's little son has not yet been killed by Toyman in this universe and played by the mousy voiced Keri Lynn Pratt) and Deadshot. As I said in last week's commentary, Deadshot is re-imagined here as a guy who fancies himself a wild west gunslinger. Though he still does have the cybernetic monocle, although its attached to to a pair of glasses that it flips over. Again, while his personality doesn't match that of his comic counterpart, I do think a guy dressing up as a cowboy and using actual guns is still less doofy than a guy in a full spandex body suit and wrist mounted guns.

Ah, I also didn't realize the guy torturing Ollie last week was supposed to be Rick Flag, which makes sense since in addition to Darkseid, I guess the Suicide Squad looks to be another enemy the heros will be facing this season. Wonder if they're gonna get more people than just Flag, Plastique and Deadshot? Oh, one thing I'll put under a cut. spoiler cut )

Supernatural- spoiler cut )

Heh, not all aspiring performers on youtube I follow are cute teenage girls. For example, there's folks like Tyler Ward (and his whole group of peeps) and Ahmir. Speaking of the latter, how did I miss their cover of Taylor Swift's "Today Was A Fairy Tale" (with a little bit of Taylor's "You Belong With Me" thrown in there at the end)? Its hilariously awesome. I mean, you don't hear many R&B groups covering Taylor Swift, but it works!
