TV Commentary:
Eureka-
( spoiler cut )That's the one amusing thing about babbling on about TV shows and other things people hardly care about, I can throw in personal ramblings about my psyche in there without people noticing. Though if I end with this sentence, then its noticeable, so I'll have to hide it with other ramblings. It also sounds like if a post is sufficiently long enough, people will also just gloss over it.
So, I've been perusing the
Transformers Wiki to expand my knowledge of such things, even if it is a useless subject. Anyways
Swindle's Scatter Blaster always intrigued me, because how is a shotgun that fires explosive buckshot not awesome? Though I'm not sure how you'd accomplish that. I do think you could do micro-explosive
flechette rounds though. I remember Cyberpunk 2020 (weird, that's only a decade from now!) having a reasonable design for a micro-explosive flechette, so what if you just took the design and loaded a shotgun or grenade launcher round and just load them with a bunch of them. Though it does seem like a bit of overkill.
Although speaking of 2020 being a decade away, reading through the wiki, its a little freaky that the "future" depicted in the later seasons of the Transformers cartoon, we're way past when its supposed to take place. I guess when 2015 comes around, we can say the same thing about Back to the Future 2. Heh, we passed 2001: A Space Odyssey and are way past the "Eugenics Wars" of Star Trek. Oh, and I forgot to mention this the other day, but that Degrassi ep had Snake mention Frogger, and both Connor and Miss Oh looked at him all, "What the frick is Frogger!?" And it weirds me out that even if she's in her mid-20s, that yes, that still means she was born after Frogger came out. But honestly, who's never heard of Frogger? Surely someone in their mid-20s know what pong and pac man are. I mean, even if they were too young to play it, its like history or something.
