Is it me, or is there never enough time in the day? Especially if you want more than 6 hours of sleep. And I'm not even referring to TV watching. Need to do some grocery shopping and run some errands this afternoon, but I'm also washing the new linens I bought yesterday, and then whipping up some spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner. Cooking is such a hassle! I mean, spaghetti isn't all that complicated, but then there's all the pots and things to clean. Geez, and this is all stuff for myself. Man, its gonna suck when I have a kid to take care of.

TV commentary:

Lie To Me- I haven't caught too many eps of this, I didn't start checking this show out until well into the series. Is it me, or is the Latina chick on this kinda cute? Anyways, I'm not sure I agree with Lightman's convo with Logan Echolls, where Logan's all "Good chess players think 5 moves ahead" and he's all "Great chess players only think 1 move ahead, but its the right one." ( spoiler cut )

So I've been seeing commercials for that Pretty Little Liars show. I obviously recognized Lucy Hale from Privileged (or if you didn't watch that, Robin's younger sister on HIMYM, or the Bionic Woman's younger sister in the actual series that replaced deaf Egg, or Kaitlyn's version of Summer at boarding school in the OC). Oh, and Ashley Benson of Bring It On 4 fame, whom I remember from one s4 ep of the OC, and bobbing for apples in a skimpy cheerleader's outfit in an ep of Supernatural. I did not recognize that one of the other girls was Mcgee's little sister on NCIS, i.e. daughter of Donald Bellisario, who created NCIS, along with other hour long dramas starring Navy or Ex-Navy personell like JAG, Magnum PI, and Quantum Leap. Oh weird, I didn't realize they were step-siblings in real life and Mcgee was Bellisario's step-son. Is that how he got the job? Anyways, it doesn't look like the 4th one has been in too much though.

I guess that show's on tonight. Along with the season finales of Glee and Justified! Ah cant wait for Glee, and I especially can't wait to see the performances at Regionals. And I'm definitely interested to see the conflict brewing all season on Justified coming to a head. Raylan hasn't actually shot too many peeps these past few eps, maybe they'll make up for it this ep.

So, just watching this Pretty Little Liars show while waiting for Glee to come on. Okay, so these girls are supposed to be 16 year olds. One of them is a secret lesbo, but the other two, the guys they're interested in are their teacher and their sister's about to enter med school boyfriend, respectively. So, doesn't that mean both those guys are in their mid-20s?! And the one girl already made out with said teacher since he had met her at a bar and didn't realize she was one of his students, and the other one, its not the first time she's gotten involved with her older sister's 20-something boyfriends. I mean, its one thing for these shows to have high schoolers screwing around with each other, but isn't it kinda risque to have all this statch going on?! I'm also amused that girl thinks the teacher is a "jerk" for not wanting to go to jail for getting involved with his 16 year old student.

And Laura Leighton looks kinda weird with the really dark hair. Oh, and heh, a mother frakking a cop to prevent her daughter from getting a record? spcv('Nice!') This show is hilarious! But it looks like the other mothers are played by Nia Peeples and Holly Marie Combs? Its also weird that they're playing mothers of teenagers now, but I guess they are that old now.

So, this vid has been circulating around the geek and entertainment gossip sites today:

But what is this supposed to be? A trailer for a re-imagining of the Mortal Kombat series? I would chock it up to another one of those fan made action vids based on video game franchises, much like that Street Fighter Legacy vid, or the Modern Warfare Frozen Crossing series. (is it me, or is the CIA operative chick in the second one kinda cute?) Which I have to hand it to them, they may not have a big Hollywood budget, but these youtubers manage to create well-done pieces of work. I mean, that SF Legacy thing was way better than either of the actual SF movies.

But I digress, the Mortal Kombat thing must be the trailer to something bigger, since they have Michael Jai White as Jax and Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade. Hhey, 7 of 9's still doing stuff! Just this past year she took over for Coupling chick on Leverage while she was out all preggers! Hmm, how would I refer to the other Leverage characters without actually referring to their actual names? Guy who almost dumped his gf for underage Natalie Portman, Voodoo, Lindsey Mcdonald, and Pilot Inspektor's mom? (I would also go with Jason Lee's baby's mama.)

Anyways, while I'm posting posting about various youtube series, is it me, or does the chick in the Growing Up Granger series do a pretty good Hermione impression. Well in that she does a good job of sounding exactly like her.
