Hmm, there sure a lot of cute snowflakes in dorky glasses wandering campus today.

Wait, Maya Rudolph is considered African-American?! I dunno, I don't really watch SNL, and thus have not seen a lot of her, but I never would've guessed. But I guess Rashida Jones is half also, but I prolly wouldn't have thought so if I didn't already know either.

I saw a link to a Caprica trailer off Pop Candy today, but its the old one. But knowing what we know now, how does that mesh?! spoiler cut )

On the drive home, saw a Cadillac CTS-V, but alas it wasn't the current one. As much as I say how cool a GT-R or any of the Porsche 911s or the higher end Mustang and Challengers are, if I had the money to afford such pricey cars, I'd prolly get a CTS-V first. I mean, that's 550 horses under the hood, and it manages to do that without looking too ostentatious! Plus, its elegant and practical. Well, practical in the sense that it can hold 4 adults and has reasonable trunk space, which is more than most "performance" automobiles.

So while Killzone 2 isn't too bad, it think many critics would say it failed to live up to the lofty expectations that people had for it. But, that's only for the single player mode. The multi-player mode, which was done by a different development team, seems to be the best part of this game. Like Team Fortress and other similar games, there are different character classes, but Killzone 2 adds on this concept. Play the class enough, and you earn experience to earn badges for the classes' abilities. Once you have those, you can start mixing and maxing your character's abilities beyond the usual class restrictions.

Gametrailers has a series of vids of the new classes. Of the ones I've seen so far, the Assault class is pretty cool with the higher durability plus the dashing ability, but I like the Saboteur class the most. I mean, being able to lay down proximity mines plus being able to disguise yourself as a player from the other team down to the gamer tag? You should be able set us some sweet ambushes with those abilities.

I was skeptical of the upcoming video game based on Wanted. But the latest vids make it look like it might be cool. I like how you can wear "The Killer" costume from the comics. But it is based on the movies rather than the comics, so you look like James McAvoy rather than Eminem. Common and Terence Stamp reprise their roles (the former I assume in flashbacks, since you also play Cross in flashbacks), but with Angelina Jolie's character gone, Paz Vega takes over the "bad-ass chick" role in the game.
