This vid has been making its rounds around the net recently, and if this little training/choreography session is any indication, that new "Ninja Assassin" film will be bad ass. But it would be hard for a decently choreographed film about modern day ninjas to not be bad-ass. And from the looks of it, besides the cool fight moves (I do like the swordplay in the vid), there'll be loads of parkour as well?

Augh, could livejournal possibly be going away?! I mean, I would think LJ is big enough that this isn't it's death knell, but you never know! Surely it will continue to exist in some form! If it does go, where will I blog my comments on TV shows and movies, or other random inane things like this:

Wait, so Q Lazzarus is a chick, but the lead singer of Placebo is a dude?! I mean, the songs don't sound that way.

Yeah, I realize there are alternative sites, but I dislike change, even though on those personality tests I usually put down that I am lukewarm to change. Those personality tests aren't that accurate anyways. I mean, first off, can you really boil someone down based on their answers to several dozen questions? And that assumes they answer truthfully or even understand the question. Like what is abstract thinking really? And how the hell do I know if I like it or not?!

Or questions like "people are out to get me". (Okay, that's not a question, its a statement, but the tests are usually rank on a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being you strongly disagree and 5 being you strongly agree, your feelings on statement X. But I digress) Obviously, its testing you on your paranoia, but its so obvious, who but the most paranoid would say yes to that? I mean, saying people are out to get you makes it sound like you're a crazy person. Like I think some might view me as a pretty paranoid person (well, not to the point of those crazy paranoid types), but I don't think people are out to get me. Well, at least not intentionally. I mean, they might not intend to do me harm, but you never know how the fates play out, they could unwittingly and unintentionally start a chain of events that cause me problems. Or like highwaymen or other ill-favored knaves and villains. If they intend to try and hurt or rob me, I'm sure most of the time its not personal, its just because I'm at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Who knows what might happen in the daily grind? Sometimes its just plain bad luck, not that there's some malicious entity or entities out there wishing to do me harm. I think thinking the latter is paranoia. Being prepared for bad things that could possibly occur through mere happenstance is just, well, being prepared!
