Owel, I'm back in the ATL and back at work. But ugh, I didn't get enough sleep Friday and Saturday night, and then I had to unpack and get settled back here, so I only ended up getting 4 hours of sleep last night. That's not good, since I hardly get enough sleep during the work week, and the week's just starting.

And my headphones stopped working, which has me mighty pissed. I noticed they wouldn't come on during the airport yesterday, and I haven't gotten them working since. Looking around online, it looks like there's a couple of people who've had the same problem. The thing has a one year warranty, so I called Motorola, but apparently they don't have a replacement in stock to send to me yet. WTF?!

And my ears haven't fully popped yet. C-note picked me up from the airport, then we hit Mama Fu's for dinner with the roomie, ND, and [livejournal.com profile] clevemire, and conversations with them sounded like I was trapped in a glass jar. Other weird things that happened yesterday. After church, hit Mickey D's for breakfast. Went in with my aunt and [livejournal.com profile] sparkyboy. The chick who took our order struck me as familiar. Later, when we're back home, my aunt tells me the girl had been talking with her co-workers about me, all disappointed because I didn't recognize her. She (my aunt, or well, the girl could have too) could have mentioned it when I was still there! Then I could've figured out where I knew her from and I wouldn't look like such a jerk for not recognizing some chick. Though I cannot think of who the hell she would be. Maybe AV? It couldn't be someone from HS, maybe someone from Mt. Carmel or the neighborhood?

Speaking of chyx, one of the stews on the flight was this wicked mad cute chocolate honey. I noticed during the pre-takeoff rounds she made she had a rosary in her hand, which I thought was kinda cute. I mean, I guess its to calm her nerves before takeoff or something?

Oh, saw Charlie Wilson's War the other day. It was a pretty interesting movie, I wonder how accurate it is. One lesson to be gleaned from it is that flying tanks are fine against poor tribesman with crappy 19th century rifles, but are sitting ducks once you give those tribesman sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles. And who nicknames their cute young assistants who pronounce going "goink" jailbait? That's not very professional!

Oh, and I did finally see Definitely, Maybe. Its a cute movie. And could there be any more movies were Abigail Breslin plays the cute and precocious little girl? Heh, and what's up with people confusing Amy Adams and Isla Fisher all the time?! I'm amused how many people didn't realize the Enchanted chick (Amy Adams) and the chick from the Wedding Crashers (Isla Fisher) are two different people. Granted, I guess they do look pretty similar. Well, except that Isla doesn't have blue eyes, which is disappointing. Amy Adams has the blue eyes, but alas, she doesn't have that hot Aussie accent. So while both are hot, alas, neither are perfect.
