Jul. 31st, 2008 12:34 pmBeen feeling so tired as of late. Well, I actually got to bed before 11 these past few nights, so I'm not as tired today as I have been. Still, it feels like a Friday, so it sucks there's still one more work day left this week.
Random internetting:
- While perusing youtube, saw this chick on the videos being watched right now bar (or mebbe it was the promoted videos bar). In any case, I thought she was kinda hilarious, though prolly only because I grew up in a Filipino household and I think she does really good imitations of stereotypical flips. Those accents are right on the money.
- I only recently found out about chickapedia, a wiki about famous chyx. Its decently informative on various chickas, and there's more than a few geebs-famous chyx in there. But its still by no means comprehensive, as they're lacking several girls. Like I find it odd they'd have chyx like Shannon Lucio and Taylor Cole (other than recurring roles on the OC and Summerland, respectively and a few guest spots on crime procedurals like CSI Miami, what have they done), but not girls like Larisa Oleynik (she was Alex Mack!), or Lindsey Mckeon. Like the only girls in their Saved by the Bell: the New Class category were Sarah Lancaster (of Chuck, Everwood, and Scrubs fame) and Natalia Cigliuti. And I was gonna say I saw Lindsey in more stuff than Natalia (Its Always Sunny in Philidelphia, Boy Meets World, Supernatural, One Tree Hill, Veronica Mars), but I guess the latter was on AMC for a while.
Or when looking up chicks who were on Gilmore Girls, they had Arielle Kebbel (who of course plays Dean's wife, well ex-wife because of that homewrecking Rory Gilmore, Lindsay), but not the chyx who played Madeline and Louisa (Shelley Cole and Teal Readmann, respectively), and they were on that show way more than she was, though I guess she's had more exposure, being in movies like John Tucker Must Die and the Grudge 2. But the Gilmore Girls entry even lists Rachel Specter, and she's not even really famous, unless you count those RGX body spray commercials.
And other shows with the initials GG, Gossip Girl, they'll list Kristen Bell (for being the voice of Gossip Girl even if she's never shown), and then Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, and Jessica Szohr (Blair, Serena, and Vanessa, respectively. Oddly enough, they didn't put Michelle Trachtenberg in there even though I hear they made her character Georgina a regular, or at the very least they're bringing her back for a few more episodes), but no Kelly Rutherford or Taylor Momsen. I mean, if they'll put Moira Kelly in the OTH entry, surely they'd put Kelly Rutherford there. But she doesn't have an entry on Chickipedia at all. Hey, she was on The Adventures of Brisco County and Melrose Place! I mean, what else has Moira Kelly really done besides OTH and the Cutting Edge? I would say Taylor Momsen was an age thing, but they had both mini Coop (Willa Holland) and original mini Coop (Shailene Woodley, who can be seen as a preggers teen on the Secret Life of the American Teenage on ABC Family currently), both of whom are underage. But speaking of which, there's no Miley Cyrus entry, but there is one for Selena Gomez, who's only real claim to fame is being Miley Cyrus' rival.
I know, it is a wiki, so you're like thinking "Why don't you just get an account and fix it yourself!?" One, I'm totally lazy. Two, I'm not too keen on working on wikis (well, beyong the one for geek fun, where only a select few have access to change stuff), as I don't like the idea of someone changing my work and replacing it with something erroneous.
