So, its the time change this weekend. The good thing about Spring forward is that its easiest to implement. Depending on the kind of clock, its usually less of a pain in the ass to set it forward an hour than to set it back. Of course, that's offset by the fact that you lose and hour of sleep. Though that's one advantage of being on nights, since I'm not actually asleep and instead at work. So I end up working an hour less.

Owel, I'm prolly jinxing things by saying this, but it doesn't look like anything broke because of the early time change, so that's good. They did make sure they patched the bajillion or so servers here way before this weekend, so unlike some places there was no scrambling to get everything ready for the early time change.

EDIT:I forgot with the time change, it wouldn't be relatively light out when I left work. It was kinda nice to have some daylight out on my way home, so its kinda depressing that its all dark again. Oh, and while I didn't lose an hour of sleep last night, I forgot that even though its 8am right now, my body still thinks its 7am, so it'll take me a little longer to actually fall asleep.

And ah, so that is Olivia Wilde on that video for Dashboard Confessional's "Stolen". Between this and the Black Donnellys, I think she looks better as a brunette than she did as a blonde on the OC.

What the?! So I'm watching Harold & Kumar on TBS, and the dubbing is kinda screwy to me. Like they dub the Freakshow guy's wife telling them to give her the double stuff to "give me the good stuff"? I don't see how "double stuff" is that risque. I mean, if they're gonna censor that, why not censor "rubbing up against each other" comment a few lines later? I assume the censors feel dp is too scandalous to even mention, so they change it to "the good stuff" to hide the mention of the act itself, but leaving the rubbing comment is just as telling!

Heh, I'm also amused by them dubbing Freakshow being all "have some tea, eff my wife" to "kiss my wife". So later when he walks in all pissed, and H and K are all "you said we could sex your wife!" and he's all, "Oh yeah, I guess I did." Of course, if you're someone only watching this censored on TBS version, you'd be thinking, "Actually, he only said you could kiss her!"

And what's with Emperors having to show you the true meaning of the dark side? What's there to show? Isn't it pretty much straightforward? Its called the frickin' "dark side"? What the hell needs explaining?! ojv('Man, its obvious!')

Anyways, just watching The Hills Have Eyes remake uncut right now. I've remarked my distaste for long distance cross country roadtrips through the boonies because of movies like this. I mean, who knows what kinda freaks are out there in the middle of nowhere! Horror movie survival rule #61: If travelling through said backwoods, and you pass by a gas station or house surrounded by dozens of abandoned cars, turn the frak around and find another route to your destination! Obviously, those are the cars of previously murdered travelers! Oh, and they also missed rule #6: When you're being chased by whatever, and you hop into your car to get away, check the frakkin' back seat first before you get in!
