Apr. 8th, 2006 07:10 amSaw "Lucky Number Slevin" with the roomie and
clevemire. It was pretty cool, even for your typical "clever" crime dramedy. You know, with the twists, and everyone being overly loquacious and saying clever witticisms. ( cut for spoilers )
Afterwards, met with ND and his British friend and had dinner at Roaster's.
Telly commentary: I won't bother with spoiler tags for OTH, but seriously, let's say you eloped with some chick a while ago, and you want to re-propose to her again so you can have a wedding in front of everybody. Instead of stealing her ring and freaking her out, why not spring for a new ring? Then you can like take her to Europe and go to some fancy European landmark and be all, "in front of all these people, i'd marry you again!" And she'd be "Yeah, right!" then she'd notice her parents are there, and then you csn kneel and propose again and give her a fancy new diamond ring. And then her dad can like hold his hand in a way that shows off his fancy diamond ring and be all, "look at me, i'm a rich white guy and I have a diamond ring!"
