Apr. 5th, 2006 01:32 pmSo I was watching old Air Supply videos on You Tube yesterday, confirming my belief that Air Supply does indeed kick ass. I mean, how can anyone say they aren't totally awesome. But I've been humming Air Supply tunes to myself all day to keep me awake.
And demonstrating that my mind is perpetually in the gutter, I was looking up the words of the day on Dictionary.com, Merriam-Webster, and YourDictionary.com. I see that dictionary.com's word of the day is cum. And I was all, woah, they can say that?! But they meant the latin for with definition. And isn't it odd that m-w's word of the day is orchidaceous but yourdictionary's is prosaic? They're like antonyms!
Okay, I don't have the greatest taste in the world, but I think the CLS GTR by ART Tuning looks sweet. But people are all, "How gauche!" Other than the color scheme, its not that gaudy at all, at least in my opinion. Its certainly better looking than the normal Mercedes CLS55 upon which it is based. Although king pimp of the tuned Euro sedans still has to be the Hamann M5. Its an M5, but riced out! Bossanova! tmtnv('Chevy Nova?!')
On that note, I'll end with a story about my friend Jessie. Jessie is a friend. Yes, I know that he's been a good friend of mine. But lately something's changed that ain't hard to define, Jessie got himself a girl and I want to make her mine. Yeah, she's watching him with those eyes, and she's loving him with that body, I just know it. Yeah, and he's holding her in his arms late, late at night. I wish that I had Jessie's girl. Where can I find a woman like that?
(Oh, nd how long have you been able to set your current location for a post? I like just noticed that today. Cool, so if i'm like posting from the mall or the airport, I don't have to waste a sentence with "So, I'm at the mall" or, "So, I'm at the airport".)

Apr. 5th, 2006 11:31 pmOwel, since its been a while since I've had a "Went to dinner at X with the usual suspects" post, here's one. Tonight, went to the Italian Kitchen (although I guess its actually Anthony's something-something now) with the roomie, C-note, and
clevemire. Cool, Wednesdays are still $5.50 pasta supreme night. Last time I got it was Ash Wednesday, so I couldn't get any meats.
Anyways, awesome eps of Lost and VM tonight, showing once again that they're two of the most edifying hours of TV right now. And starting next week, they're no longer opposite each other! And even though I find the Sydney Pollack's Essentials on Turner Classic one of the most pretentious things ever, to quote him, "These are the shows you should be watching!" Well, those two and the new Battlestar Galactica.
