What the hell? I woke up the same time this morning, went into the bathroom the same time, and it didn't feel like I spent anymore time than usual getting ready, but when I got out it was like 10 minutes later than I usually do. Its like I somehow lost ten minutes. Watched Chronicles of Riddick director's cut yesterday afternoon. Apparently what they cut out was from the theatrical release was all the backstory and a bunch of plot. I heard that had happened. The action sequences aren't as jaggy, particularly the one on Crematoria. I thought the director was going for some weird style, but apparently its because Riddick was PG-13 so those awful cut-aways were because they were trying to avoid showing him and Kyra stabbing or decapitating people. A definite improvement over the theatrical version.

Wednesday night TV. Lost had Delenn. How strange to see her without that bone ridge across the back of her head. jerks and intrigue )

Was watching the Trailer for that Phantom of the Opera movie coming out next month. You gonna watch that, [livejournal.com profile] isabel79? Heh, I've never actually seen the pkay, but between her and my ex-roomie Hieu, those songs were burned into my brain. [livejournal.com profile] psyched_out was subjected to some of Hieu's constant phantom playing freshman year, but I actually had to go to sleep to that (well, that and Enigma) at night. (Though could you hear it through the door?) It was amusing though, that most of Hieu's talk was influenced by that and Mortal Kombat. So, thinking back on it, it was kinda funny to have him just randomly shout, "Sing, sing to me!" and "You Will Die, Mortal!" every so often.

The first time I saw the trailer, I didn't know the main chick was played by Emmy Rossum. I thought she was kinda cute in Day After Tomorrow. Ida know, I may try and catch this.

Saw After the Sunset with the roomie and [livejournal.com profile] dashoka tonight. It was cool. Nothing groundbreaking, but a decent flick. And Salma Hayek? Hoo-boy!! Some of those outfit, es muy incredible! The Joey was interesting. The chick who was supposed to play his daugther in that audition looked pretty cute. Or maybe its because of the short-skirt/almost knee high boots I'm a fan of. Didn't they have both Lorelai and Rory in such a look (and looking good) in this past week's GG? Though Rory seemed to be wearing hers with some weird fishnet looking stocking things when she met Lor, Christopher and Gigi at the Inn. It just doesn't seem like her style though.

Tonight's OC was pretty cool. That new Lindsay character is a total cutie I think. Actually the mad cute girl needing help today's name was Lindsay. What a coinky-dink. And they had similar looks too. new faces and changes )
