Sep. 11th, 2004 10:08 pmAh, just another hum drum day at work. T's leaving OIT for another job, but luckily they already found a replacement so I won't be by myself on the weekends. But it still sucks that he won't be around. Talked about this and that. I really should expand my computing knowledge and not let all the resources here at work go to waste. But I could never get organized enough and get a goal to works towards. Well, T gave me a few ideas and I'll prolly start working towards those goals. And pop's is always trying to get me into actuary stuff, which I should take a look at. Of course, I prolly shouldn't have let my chemical engineering degree go to waste. In any case, I really need to get off my ass and quit screwing around. So I have three things I can do. I have no excuse to not be doing better things by the time I'm 30.

phatjoe's no one was gonna be around for dinner after I got off work. So, just brought home some taco bell and plopped down in front of the telly to watch SVU re-runs and read the stuff sis lent me. I've only read Kare Kano 11 so far, but it was totally great. I couldn't get enough of the Kazuma-Tsubasa storyline and can't wait for the next one to see how it all turns out. I'm actually glad they've started focusing on the other characters, because I think the series would get stale if they just focused on Yukino-Arima. With all these other players, it seems like there's just so many more stories to tell. Like in the other series sis lent me, Hot Gimmick, the main story is good, but I find myself more interested in the things developing with Akane and Subaru.
Damn, could I sound anymore like a lame 13-year old teeny-bopper? I actually had this odd dream last night where I was in the OC, and it was the new season premiere. Well, I was in the OC world as if it was real, playing the Seth Cohen role, but somewhere in my conciousness my mind was telling me I was acting out the events of the first ep of the new season. So given that Seth was an idiot at the end of last season and sailed off and left Summer hanging, the whole ep was about me-Seth trying to win Summer back. I guess I'll find out what really happens a couple of months from now. But I saw the OC first season box set is already up on Amazon (coming 10/26!), so that was immediately put on my wish list. I should put other things on that list to make it seem less girly. John Woo's The Killer seems so odd amongst all those teen dramas.
