It wasn't until I watched the Halloween ep of Angel the second time that I finally understood what the hell drunk Fred was saying. The person had their "ennui" removed. (Or at least that's what I thought she said) I could use a procedure like that. Everything just seems to blend together as of late.

Owel, was watching Coming Attractions on E! at work the other day since it was the only thing on at 330 am in the morning. Saw a preview for this Ashton Kutcher/Amy Smart movie called "The Butterfly Effect". And it looks like a serious movie! I guess Kelso's trying to break out. It looks pretty interesting, especially since it deals with my biggest fear about time travel, the butterfly effect. I mean, you go back in time and change one thing, no matter how insignificant it seems, it could cause a chain of events that lead to huge changes. That's why I say, don't time travel! Of course, its my wishful thinking if that there was time travel, its of the static type, i.e., if someone from the future has traveled back in time, history has already accounted for it. That way you can't change the time stream. So if you get in a time machine and take it to the past and affect things in some way, that's the way it always happened. I also disagree with some people's view that that interferes with the concept of free will. They're all since that's the way things happened in history, you're fated to do things that way. I think, even if it took place in the past, you decided to do things that way. They also ask, "What if you know you were gonna travel back in time in the future and there's evidence you changed things?" If things worked the way i said they do, then even if they actively try to not to do whatever they did in the future/past they'll still end up doing things the same way. I still don't think that interferes with free will, because I think that at the exact moment X happens, they actively chose to do something that causes X to happen, regardless of whether that was their express intent. I'm not saying whatever they chose, X will happen, I'm saying they have a choice, they just happened to pick the one that causes X.

Anyways, I really need to sit down and watch White Oleander all the way through. Watching it while only half paying attention, I miss things. Like, did Astrid sleep with her first foster fother? I know the foster mother claims she did, but it looks like things did happen that way. I also missed this whole chunk with her and that kid from Almost Famous the first time through that I only noticed on my second viewing.
