Vegas was way too predictable tonight. I had everything, both the main and b-plot all figgered out in the first five minutes. Hmm, Matrix Reloaded comes out today, I'll prolly pick that up at Media play, since I have a $5 certificate. Dunno if I wanna pick up the new Dido CD also.

A new video game addiction coming up soon, as DW4: XL comes out next month. Yes, I know I've played DW4 way too much, but at least XL provides a lot of new things. I'm a little intimidated though, reading through the current faqs for the japanese version, it sounds hard to get the new 11th weapons. I mean, you have to do it on the new expert difficulty level, and some you can't have bodyguards (which isn't too bad, they just screw things up anyways) and others where you can't use items. That's a little freaky, since all my lvl 20 items went a long way to helping me survive those hard levels trying to get the l10 weapons. Owel, that's something I can piss the guys off about by playing incessantly trying to get all 42 chars 11ths. I'm sick.

HBO signature was showing this film called "The Sex Monster" tonight. Funny flick. Its about this guy who tries to liven up his sex life by convincing his wife to participate in a threesome with him and this lesbian chick, which she does. Then she ends up liking it and seduces his little sister, his secretary, his friends' wives, etc. Its kinda of an amusing "be careful what you wish for" tale, since she was totally ignoring him. And its not that dirty, there's no nudity or even sex really, just some girl-girl kissing, and moaning off-screen.

Oh, and the ep of Cowboy Bebop tonight was the one with Mad Pierrot. One of my favorite Bebop eps, since its so action packed. It also has one of my favorite lines from a TV show/movie: "Greetings, gentlemen. I have journeyed here to take your lives."

Its always curious to know what might have been. I mean, I still wouldn't change anything, because I think a lot of good things have happenned that I wouldn't want not to happen. Things are connected, and the choices we make can have drastic effects. I mean, I could say I want to do X instead of Y, but then I, J, and K aren't possible, and I liked experiencing I, J, and K!

But I'm a curious guy. It would be kinda neat to see what things could be like. I mean, "what if" eps of comics and TV shows have always fascinated me. Strangely, they're never happy though. Even if it starts off sounding better, there's always some reason why the true path was the better one in the long run.

But there's a lot of things to wonder. What if I had gotten into that CIA program? Maybe then my grades my first year here wouldn't have been so piss-poor since I would have had a financial incentive to have a high GPA. And maybe I'd be an analyst right now. Of course, then I wouldn't have had to retake that one class and I couldn't laugh with amusement at how that 24 year old teacher I had thought I was trying to get into her pants. Granted she had good reason to believe that, but the fact that I had her back to back quarters was a total coincednce! Though I suppose it did look fishy to her since I was taking the classes out of sequence. But I had to re-take that pre-req eventually. Ah, I remember that day, when she looked me straight in the eye and emphasized to me how married she was. I ended up only going to the TA sessions for the rest of that quarter!

But I digress.

Although those are all examples of didn't dos. What about all the dumb-ass things I've done? I can think of a few things I'd like to take back.

Or maybe things are just fated. Like no matter what you did, certain things would've still happened. I mean, if I hadn't had that thing with H from Il, would M still have met J? Then would certain living arrangements not have happened, and if so would the Ss still hook up, and did they set the example for other H and I don't know what letter to use because I don't remember his name to enter into a similar marriage?

Woah, its windy outside. And cold!

Anyways, I went home this morning, tired, wanting to go to sleep, but for some reason someone decided to chainsaw the trees outside my window. Owel, what can you do?

Had dinner at roasters, picked up Matrix Reloaded at Media Play, then went grocery shopping. Got back just in time for Gilmore Girls. Wow, Rory's looking pretty foxy with the new shorter 'do. It did have a different feel to it though, since it was written by ex-buffy writer Jane Espenson. They did seem to talk differently. I feel sorry for Dean and Lindsay, Dean's obviously still hung up on Rory, that marriage will have some problems down the road. And how inappropriate of Rory, albiet mad cute-looking, to be waiting outside the chapel all teary eyed! She better hope neither the bride nor the groom saw her!

Afterwards, watched Reloaded, well as much of it as I could before I had to come into work. Watching what I guess is supposed to be the last ep of the Joe Schmo show right now. It'll be interesting to see how he's gonna react. Speaking of TV, I didn't want to mention it because I thought it might have been a fluke and didn't want to jinx it, but how cool is it that Adult Swim repeats again at 2am? That way Law and Order: SVU and Family Guy don't interfere with each other. I mean, there was rarely anything past 2am, but there was a bunch of stuff between 11pm-2am in addition to adult swim. It'll help cut down on the ennui.

And for those of you wondering why I watch so much TV at work, that's actually part of the job! I mean, since we're up monitoring the network and the systems here, might as well monitor Dish as well.
