Dang, I gots some management class today. Owel, I should rattle this entry off before I have to head up there. Buffy was interesting. The Dawn part was a little Ring-ish. And I can understand Krug's dismay at them using Cassie as a "medium" for Tara. I had heard and told him about Amber Benson and the network execs not being able to come to some sort of agreement so she wouldn't be returning this season, which sucks. Owel. And I wonder if the whole Scott Hope being gay thing is an inside joke since he's on Queer as Folk now. I can't remember who, but someone the other day told me they though the show was called "Queer-ass Folk". I guess he thought they were being edgy or something.

Nothing to say 24 wise. Sure, there are glaring plot holes and the characters are doing really stupid things, but its still better than a lot of the shows out there right now. So onto Smallville. That look Clark had when he heard Lana was moving in with Chloe kinda looked like his mind was short-circuiting. Hey, those two young hotties living under the same roof, my brain would fry too. Because you know guys we think chicks living together run around in their underwear having playful pillow fights and stuff like that. And there was a lot of foreshadowing. Like the whole Clark as Warrior Angel/Lex as Devilicus comparison. Although, who wouldn't think it would be the coolest thing if Clark and Lex joined forces and took over the world?

I thought wbvoiceoverv('Gilmore Girls: The Dance Marathon') was good, but something about it just bugged me. I think it was the whole Rory-Dean breakup. I think its because they didn't do what shows like this usually do, where the guy breaks up with the girl because he either catches her kissing the other guy or finds out they've been running around his back. Which is decent, because it was good to see a show have the guy not be a chump and get out of the relationship when its so plainly obvious that the girl's heart belongs to someone else. No need to let their farce of a relationship drag on. It'll hurt less now then later. Though I guess from the previews, Jess dumped Shane and he and Rory are gonna hook up immediately? I guess that's another convention they didn't follow. Usually, after the aforementioned break-up, something happens soon afterwards to make the new couple break up, like someone has to find themself or the other wants the other person to get over the person they just broke up with them. Then again, it did happen at the end of the ep, so we'll see next week.

I guess there was also no clear cut answer to "who does Rory belong with"? Most shows that have a triangle, its pretty obvious who the person should end up with. Like third-season DC, the Dawson-Joey-Pacey triangle, it was obvious she had to hook up with Pacey. Or the Felicity-Ben-Noel thing? First season, a little vague, but after that, you know she belonged with Ben. Or Piper-Leo-that other guy who was normal? Ed/Carol/and the principal guy? But I digress. I mean, it seemed pretty obvious that she and Jess were so much alike, but nothing really jumped out at me that they belong together. Which is good I guess, since it leaves their options open. And it just seems like it puts a dark cloud over the relationship to start it out like that. But I've seen it happen in real life. Well, not someone breaking up with a girl at a 24 hour dance marathon and she hooks up with the town "bad boy". That is sort of auspicious start to a relationship, but sometimes in those sitches, what can you do? I mean, it just can't be helped, you know?

Back from class. It was pretty interesting. But also weird. I think Bill and I were the only people there under 30. And besides our bosses, they had the big boss, and other department heads and upper level managers, some of whom I didn't even recognize. I'm glad I "dressed up" today, which is actually just me wearing a shirt with a collar. But I digress. It was informative. And more practical (and applicable) than me and Bill originally thought.
