Went to the Vortex for dinner tonight, but didn't get the Coronary Bypass! Opted for the standard bacon cheeseburger with mayo. So it was like the coronary bypass, sans fried egg.



Watching the O.C. tonight, even though I'm skeptical such a thing would ever happen in real life, I was endeared by the whole Seth/Summer thing. They actually have some pretty good chemistry together. I hear next week is the last new ep until it comes back at the end of October.



For some reason, I've got that song "The Way You Look Tonight" stuck in my head. Well, that and the imagery of some wedding reception where some crooner is singing it. Very strange.

All my dreams have sucked lately. Last night, I dreamt I went back in time and took Erica to the prom instead. Only here she looked like Monica Keena circa 2nd season DC. She seemed like she didn't want to be there. I snuck her a single glass of champagne and she seemed to be warming up to me. Then she told her friends that she had a thing for me and she grabbed me and we walked outside the ballroom. But then she passed out on some hotel couch. Only it turns out it was because she had alcohol poisoning. I found out she had drank a crapload more drinks that she got from the bartender when I wasn't looking. When she woke up in the hospital, she tried to get herself out of trouble by saying I gave her the drinks, and I tried to tell people while I gave her just one drink, she drank a crapload more on her own. I'm not sure how that ended up. There was also some part when I was back up in NY hanging out with isabel79 and 7500centfish. For some reason isabel79 was studying fencing while at school and we went to buy her one of those mesh fencing masks. It was all very strange.

I actually got the bypass at my last Vortex outing. While it was good, it's not that much better than the average Vortex burger. I'm glad I tried it, but I doubt I'll ever get it again.
