The Boys- Caught this over the weekend. I enjoyed it, its not as ridiculous as the comics. Like I was wondering why they made the Seven more sympathetic, although that's not the right word, because you shouldn't feel sympathy for these assholes. But I guess its more, they give them slightly more depth, as the comic version of them were a bit too much of a caricature.
But some huge changes there in the season finale. So Billy's wife is still alive, and so is the Homelander's kid. It'll be interesting to see how this goes next season.
The 100- Wow, Clarke's composure is off the charts. She definitely is doing a much better job of playing Jospehine than Josie did her. I mean, she's still fooling Josie's parents even at the end of this ep.
And I say parents, because Abby's plan to save Madi backfires. She makes herself a nightblood so Russell won't accidentally kill Madi by draining too much blood. But I wanna say this fire is what makes him choose to make her Simone's new host. Well, in two ways- I mean, firstly, Abby did say she was going to kill him because she thinks he killed Clarke, so two birds one stone, he doesn't have to continue look over his shoulder after all this. But I think there's a twisted respect there- like she is worthy to be his wife's host as opposed to some rando. So Abby's gone. And Clarke manages to keep it together and play along.
Throughout the whole ep, I was worried Clarke would accidentally get hurt because one of her friends didn't know she's really Clarke. But she manages to let them know, some later than others. Like its not until the end of the ep, when Murphy and Emori decide to stay behind that Clarke manages to reveal herself to them.
Interesting though, I'm wondering how next ep will go. Like Russell, Simon and Clarke-Josephine have guns to Gaia, Miller and either Raven or Madi, I forget, with Indra, Niylah and other ship-people pointing guns to them. But it looks like the Sanctum guards aren't in the airlock with them. So Clarke might be in the position she needs to get the drop on Russell and Simone right then and there.
