TV commentary:

Game of Thrones- Not what I was expecting. Say what you will about the finale, but that one shot of Dany in front of her dragon making it look like she had dragon wings was pretty bad-ass. Anyways, I was actually expecting Arya to kill her wearing Jon's face to get close, and then Jon witnessing it and taking the rap to protect her because even he realized Dany had to die.

They tried to explain Dany's motivations a little better here, wanting to "free" all the peoples form their oppressors. Her mistake was name dropping Winterfell- because in her mind "oppressors" are anyone who doesn't agree with her views. And while Jon is perfectly fine to risk his own life all, "I don't care that I have a more legit claim to the thrown, Dany would never kill me!" Tyrion convinces him that his sisters will never bend the knee and thus would find themselves likely burned to ash if Dany isn't stopped.

And so Jon kills her. Heh, one of the sites I peruse joked about how Drogon basically flew off with the evidence but Jon, being the honorable dope he is, prolly just admitted it immediately when people showed up. Interestingly enough, obviously Grey Worm would be pissed, but given the events of King's Landing, I figured Dany would have few friends amongst the remaining lords, who would be breathing a sigh of relief. But Yara was also pretty pissed at Jon for what he did.

Heh, poor Edmure. On the one hand, I applaud his boldness trying to actually throw his hat in the ring, but really, sit down, loser. Also, I'm amused Sam tries to create democracy, and the rest of the lords were all, "Yeah, no!"

Anyways, Tyrion, despite being a prisoner, manages to convince the other lords to make the new king... Bran. Heh, was this his plan all along? Being all, "I foresaw this, this is why I came down here!" You'd think the rest of the lords would take umbrage. Indeed, the Stark kids did quite the coup. Bran is the leader of the SIX kingdoms, because Sansa was all, "Us northerners are tired of following some Southern king, so we're being our own country now." Heh, its weird none of the other kingdoms were all, "We can do that?" Like Dorne or the Iron Islands didn't want to take that deal?

So yeah, Bran and Sansa get their own kingdoms, Arya decides to explore the west. And Jon's punishment is to be banished back into the Nightwatch. But he just reunites with Tormund and Ghost and they go north of the wall with the other Wildlings to resettle.

Tyrion becomes the new hand, Pod joins the King's Guard, Brienne is Lord Commander, Bronn gets Highgarden and becomes Master of Coin, Davos is charge of the Navy, and Sam is Grand Meister.

Supergirl- Seriously?! Lena kills Lex, but he reveals Kara is Supergirl before he dies and says how everyone played her for a fool. Kara is about to tell Lena at game night, but Alex says not to. So Lena knows but the rest of them don't know she knows. And at first it seems like she's cool about it, but later we see her drinking and breaking a pic of her and the Danvers sisters.

Other crazy stuff- apparently Eve was only with Lex on the Leviathan's orders. So they had a plan for him, wonder what it was? And is the Monitor with them? Because not only does he free J'onn's brother so he can take revenge on him, he resurrects Lex!
