Riverdale- Smooth move, B! So Betty tries to use Cheryl to infiltrate the cult to get the scoop on Edgar. Only she just manages to get her cousin sucked into the cult. Because apparently Edgar has been letting people talk to their dead loved ones! aav('WHAAATT!!??')
So yeah, with Alice seeing real Chic and Cheryl seeing Jason (wonder if that's who Polly sees too), they have no desire to leave.
Archie gets a call from Mad Dog and learns his old fight buddies are being transferred into the new prison, most likely to continue the fight club. Archie blackmails the governor into pardoning all of them, and he takes them in at the gym. Mad Dog's family coincidentally lives in the building Glady's cook has been working, so the Serpents and Archie's boxing buddies team up to try and arrest the Gargoyles.
Jug almost gets the cook, thanks to Mad Dog single handedly holding off a bunch of them. But, the cook defenestrates both of them and escape. Baby Teeth tries to go after him, but he disappears and FP finds his body later, a victim of the Gargoyle King. So guess that's not done. But yeah, Jug and Gladys have basically declared war.
Oh, and V hears her parents are getting a divorce, so she fakes a death threat against Hermione to get her daddy to stay, but he eventually figures it out and gets the marriage annulled.
The Magicians- Musical ep! So we found out what Penny23 was freaked out about- the stones aren't making a body for itself, but its sister, the girl we saw in the flashback. The Monster doesn't remember her yet, but Penny23 thinks its quite worrisome. Because if they imprisoned the Monster, how bad does the sister have to be if they killed her?
Anyways, the gang tries to warn the last god on the list, but the guy is cocky and gets killed by the Monster. So now it has all the stones, but at least it still doesn't know what they are for yet.
Meanwhile, back in Fillory, or I guess technically, out of Fillory, Margo goes through an enduring quest that really tests her, but thanks to her fairy eye, she manages to both get the axes she needs as well as free a bunch of women from virtual enslavement.
Other stuff- Alice gives Julia the binder, and she (Alice, that is) and Kady tell Zelda something hincky's going on with the library, as the ambient levels are low not because they have things stopped up, but there's not as much magic going through the pipes as they should. Zelda is skeptical, but she eventually discovers the truth! So looks like they have an in.
