TV commentary:
Legacies- Nice history reveal there! But lets get the main plot out of the way first. So Alaric, Emma, Dorian, Josie, Lizze, Hope and Caleb (because Alaric still feels he needs to keep a watchful eye on him) go on a road trip to find the urn.
They bump into Triad and work together to stop this weeks MotW, a mummy. Josie manages to burn it down (she sure loves fire) and Alaric gets Caleb to compel a Triad worker lady to steal the urn back from Triad (who feel they should have it as an organization dedicated to protecting the general public from supernaturals).
Unfortunately, Clarke suspected the double cross, and managed to grab both Emma and Dorian, forcing a trade. Which is palatable because Alaric believes the school and Triad have similar goals. Unfortunately, turns out Clarke is a secret Malivore bad guy. Like we sorta suspected this when he pushed that one tech in after he saw the pic of Landon's mom. But that coulda just been him covering up secrets the company didn't want nobodies to know. This week though, he shows his true colors by totally pitching the urn into Malivore. So one lock left to unlock!
Oh, and Dorian quits because he finds out Alaric kissed Emma while not under the effects of the mindworm, even though Alaric didn't know Emma was with Dorian at the time?
Also, Caleb tells Alaric he respects him, but things have changed with all these theats, so the vamps need human blood, and the witches need to learn more offensive magic if they're going to survive.
Now onto to the good stuff! So we finally find out the reason for the feud between the twins and Hope- apparently Lizzie thought Hope was spreading rumors about her mental issues to the school. Which Hope vehemently denies, because she would never do that given her familiarity with mental issues because of her dad and sorta grandad.
So they continue to bicker since Spring Break brings up the event that started this feud three years ago, so Josie is forced to admit the truth- that she not only lied, but she started the fire in Hope's room at the time as well.
Why? Turns out Hope had a huge crush on Hope (why wouldn't she, she says) and left her a note that morning. So Lizzie made a crack at Josie about how she was obsessed with Hope. So she was all, she could never like a girl who would say horrible things about her sister. So that started that. And then she accidentally set fire to Hope's room when trying to use a fire spell to burn the note and ended up being too strong and burned a bunch of other stuff as well.
And interestingly enough, it wasn't because she was scared her sister would think she was gay, it was because Lizzie always seemed to go after people she liked, and always won. Which, interesting, so does that mean Lizzie's bi too, if she felt it was possible that Lizzie would try and get with Hope?
