Riverdale- Seriously, isn't Archie supposed to be a teenager? Why he be getting into boxing matches? Why is his father and Keller letting him?
But look at Jughead's mom getting the crazy Gargoyles in line to fill in the ranks after the Serpents lost several members to the Pretty Poisons. And she's basically holding Ronnie over a barrel to protect Hermione.
And heh, is Betty going to be homeless since Alice has gone all in on this cult?
The Magicians- Interesting. Looks like Q's not even hiding the fact that he knows the Monster was lying about Eliot being dead. He outright tells it if it harms Eliot's body, he'll go after it full force, even if it kills him, and then it will be all alone.
Looks like as much as Margo says she can't grieve, Eliot's death (she doesn't even know he's still alive!) is definitely affecting her. And she takes it out on her enemies and even Josh.
Interesting, so Penny-23 and Marina-23 (who apparently has a gf!) were captured by the kid of some famous time mage. Apparently the lady used some powerful herbs to enhance her magic when she was younger, even though the physical effects in later life are debilitating. But she didn't care because she invented some bracelets to protect her. Bracelets that stopped working because Penny and Marina's existence is messing with them.
They manage to escape the kid, and Penny is trying to figure out what to do, because he doesn't want this kid's mom to die. But then he ends up having a convo with Penny-40 who tells him he's more important than this lady. He can choose to not return to timeline 40 with Marina, but he's apparently important to upcoming big events, and that lady dies in a month anyways.
And so he does, taking several dandelions with him from a different timeline- he blows on them all, spreading its seed and basically making it impossible for the kid to eradicate all non-40 traces from the timeline.
Finally, Alice is led to Modesto and moves in with a lady named Sheila, played by Camryn Manheim, who's apparently a nascent mage who's only now coming into her power. Apparently there's a leaky magic pipe nearby, which raised the ambient magic levels of the town. Sheila is able to detect it, and leads Alice to it. Alice expands the crack, raising the magic level even further.
Sheila wants to do this to clean the lead from the pipes of the town, and Alice think she's done a good deed. Since no good deed goes unpunished, a fire-controller hedge witch in town gets his powers back, and tells his friends about the increased magic levels. And then blows up the local library.
And while Alice is busy watching some kids frolick in the now clean water, the Librarians have gone after Sheila. Whoops!
