TV commentary:

Supernatural- You guys really didn't see that coming? That Michael would jump back into Dean just when they thought they had him beat?!

Owel, I'm just glad Sam wasn't forced to kill Garth. Like I get this show is supposed to be gritty, but they've had too much death over the years. And they better not have brought Garth back just to die in a double agent mission gone wrong, especially when he mentioned he has a little girl now.

And when the hell are they going to have Claire and Dark Kaia meet? Its like give me something if you weren't gonna make Wayward Sisters a thing!

Legacies- Smooth move, ex-lax! So Hope interrogates the Necromancer trying to figure out if her dad is at peace. Eventually, she finds out, he is kinda, but he'll only truly be at peace when she finally lets her be at peace. But yeah, for someone so hammy, he does manage to play Hope to a tee, distracting her just long enough to secretly use Raf's gf Cassie to steal the knife. And because he's actually smart, he just also resurrects one of the many dead Bennett witches in the area to immediately teleport the knife to the Malivore. Whoops!

Which is bad, because we actually get answers about the knife. Apparently all those creatures were killed by that knife, and not just killed, but erase from existence (like he actually knew Klaus), banished to the blackness of the Malivore. But the knife also serves as one of three locks sealing up Malivore. So it was releasing dead creatures to recover the knife to destroy it. So one lock down, two to go.

Also, now we know why Kaylee said she wouldn't be in the next couple of eps. Because in the end, Hope's bracelet glows. So I'm guessing she and Raf and maybe Alaric and/or Dorian are going to NOLA, so we won't see the twins or the other students for those ps.

But yeah, color me surprised that they gave Kaleb a redemptive arc, much like Penelope. I mean, for him, the fact that they couldn't feed on human blood was making them chain away a part of themselves. Even four days off of human blood, and he's still stronger than MG. So when the Necromancer gets one over on him and Hope and almost traps her in his mind, MG thinks he needs to be more powerful to protect the ones he cares about. And so he tries to coach MG the ropes of feeding on humans.

Which ends up getting bad, because MG almost goes ripper on the person Kaleb brought MG. And for the first time, Kaleb actually seems regretful and sees the danger. Especially after Dorian is there to stop it and lecture Kaleb.

You know, I totally forgot Dorian's family was slaughtered by Stefan! So yeah, on Remembrance day, he takes off because its the one day he can let loose his feelings. Like he's a loyal member of the school, believes in what they're doing. But he needs that one day to address the fact that he works in a library dedicated to the guy who murdered his family. So yeah, he warns Kaleb the dangers of rippers, and how the people most susceptible are folks like MG.

In any case, Kaleb seems to get the message. Heh, so first Penelope, now him? Are they going to do something redemptive with Jed next?
