Legacies- Hey, that's fine with me! They want to introduce other supernaturals, that's totally fine. They've already had a combined 15 seasons or so of vampire, wolf, and witch drama in the previous shows, nothing wrong with adding new things like dragons and gargoyles.
As I had predicted, Landon is not one of these new Supernatural. He's just a dumb-ass who stole a knife. Well, I say dumb-ass, but while he does seem to make poor life choices sometimes, I still think there was some sort of supernatural compulsion to not only steal the knife, but lie about it multiple times when confronted.
I still want to know more about the kids. Like what happened between Josie and Penelope? Josie still seems pretty pissed over it, and Penelope seems to be wanting to taunt her and her sister at every turn. Tell us more! Also, Penelope cracks me up. Ha, it is like she just appears out of thin air, flashing that evil smile.
But I'm a little skeptical about the whole Hope vs the Twins drama. Now, I can understand the jealousy- Hope has a lot of drama going on, so Alaric prolly does have to deal with her a bunch, making the twins jealous. So that I can see. I don't see the whole thing where Lizzie says Hope has made them feel miserable all their lives. Like does she mean passively, with her drama? Because otherwise, I don't see her being mean to them- she's been pretty aloof from what we've seen here and on The Originals. And she's the one who referred to them as mean girls. It just seems like there's an animosity that shouldn't be there.
And wow, Alaric having them lose the football game every year is just stupid. I get not letting them use their powers. But the one guy was a legit college recruit hopeful. His reasoning is flawed. Like he's all, "Oh, let them see us losers and make fun of us, then they won't ask too many questions!" I get wanting to keep things secret, but it sucks for his daughters.
I mean, he can't just be all, "Oh, they're just small minded people, who cares about their opinion!" Its easy to say it out of the moment, but its really trying when its happening. Like he needs to be careful, because he knows Lizzie is prone to dangerous tantrums. Telling her to bottle that all up seems like a bad idea.
Its even twisting Josie around. Like she was so scared of disappointing their dad that she purposely lost the game by using magic to make the catch miss. Which, she's just blindly following an order just to get his approval.
Its disappointing the ratings aren't great, I actually like this show, there's potential. Plus, if there wasn't going to be room on the schedule for Wayward Siters, I'd rather it have been for something!
