Riverdale- Are you freaking kidding me? This is why I hate jail storylines. I hated it with Spencer on Criminal Minds, I hated with Barry on Flash, its the reason I quit the Fosters. And its freaking annoying that I have to deal with two shows having the main character in jail.
Anyways, its not going well for Archie- the Serpents won't help him, Joaquin saying he's not a real serpent. He'll only have the Serpents watch out for him if he shivs a Ghoulie, which is kinda insane. Archie of course refuses, so he gets his ass kicked by the Ghoulies, who steal his shoes.
He eventually tries to make peace by organizing a football game, which Veronica and the Vixens show up to, doing a dance number for Arch outside the jail yard. Of course, after Hiriam gives the Warden a signal, he sicks the guards on the football game, labeling it a riot.
Archie insanely swings at some guards. Which, don't stand there and get beaten up, but don't start beating up guards. Anyways, Archie had a roomie, Mad Dog, who was just trying to keep his head down, dispensing advice. And when Archie gets back to his cell, the head guard says Mad Dog died in the riot, even though he wasn't there.
The Warden visits later, saying he liked how he handled himself, so he's the new Mad Dog. What's that about? Well, from the previews, it has to do with underground fighting.
The Gargoyle King thing continues to be incredibly mysterious. Apparently Ethel is involved, having been dating (well, in Griffins and Gargoyles) the boy who didn't die in the forest (and kills himself later). She suffers a "seizure". Maybe from the Gargoyle King for talking with Bughead, maybe from Evelyn Evernever (played by Gracie from Orphan Black, who does creepy well here!) who was watching the situation.
Even more mysterious, the parents gather in Hermione's office (Keller, Sierra, FP, Fred, Alice, Hiram, and Penelope), who are perturbed about this current turn of events, that involves a secret from when they were back in high school. Did they like fight It or something?! But yeah, as insane as it is, this storyline is infinitely more interesting than the Archie in jail thing.
