TV commentary:
Doctor Who- Heh, they're taking their time with the setup here. I mean, the Doc only just gets the Tardis back at the end of the ep. But the Stenza are mentioned again, so they may actually play a significant role this season. Also, something about a child?
I mean, the very first Doctor did start out with a granddaughter. And then there was his "daughter" who he had no idea actually lived. But both of those were grown up. This prolly has nothing to do with them. I mean, we don't know if this child is the Doctor's!
NCIS: LA- They better not be setting us up! I mean, what's with all the lovey-dovey scenes with Neric all of a sudden? At least with Densi, we were owed from the end of last season. They better not have anything bad happen to one of them! I mean, the Hidoko stuff is still bullshit. Like its not enough she died, its that she died pretty horribly.
And weird, didn't expect them to have Joelle back. Didn't realize Callen, Sam, and Nell were the only ones who knew the truth. And in the end she's still too chicken to return to her family. I've always found her character off once we found the truth out about her.
For one, I'm skeptical that Michelle didn't know. Like how good is Joelle supposed to be?! Which goes along with number two, watching old eps, she's like REALLY committed to seeming like an ordinary citizen when she's apparently this bad-ass spy. It just seems half-ased. Like I don't believe for a second that they always intended her to be a secret agent- it seems like something they came up with later even though going back it makes no sense.
I have no problem with Joelle the teacher or Joelle the spy per se, just that them being the same person doesn't seem to really work if you think about it too closely.
