Supergirl- Ah, I figured that was the bad guys big plan. When Lilian had mentioned Lena's commercials for the holo-emitters that disguised aliens as human, between the anniversary of the president's alien amnesty act and the talks about passing, it popped in my head. Killing Marsden would just make a martyr. Revealing that she's been an alien this whole time, and people were gonna lose their g-d minds.
I see what they were trying to go for, the Kara was trying to overly optimistic, that she didn't want people to believe people were so racist, but it was still a weird choice to have her be dismissive of J'onn's hate crime claims. Like, she's a pretty blonde white girl, so of course she'd be way more accepted than a lot of other aliens. So they were trying to show her privilege, but it wouldn't make her that dense!
But wow, the Graves are cold blooded! And gutsy! I dunno why Otis was cocky all, "You think my sister would really kill me?!" Dude, the shot to the bulletproof vest may have been theater, but he would've totally died from the crash if Supergirl hadn't saved him. And that trick wouldn't have worked if he wasn't in actual danger!
Did they really fridge J'onn's new girlfriend?! Well, friend that was a girl.
And they sidestepped the Guardian issue for now by having Lena get some juicy info on a bigger target, giving the DA enough info to indict an actual criminal. If she oh-so conveniently drops the Guardian case. But she didn't tell him she helped him. Also, the DA says on live TV that he case is over for now, but if he resumed his work as Guardian, he would be indicted.
Heh, I like how they solved the Superman issue and have Kara fulfill the Superman role by having him go to Argo. Also I like Nia, she's pretty cute. And I guess they're making her out to be Kara jr?
And interesting, they didn't take too long to address the whole Supergirl clone the Russians picked up. Given that seems to be totally unrelated to Agent Liberty and the Graves' plans, wonder how that whole thing will play out?
