Riverdale- Are you freaking kidding me?! What are you, some kinda moron?! So the jury in Archie's murder trial, so at first you're thinking, "Whew, mistrial, they have time to find him innocent!" But then the DA is all, "we'll offering a plea deal of only 2 years for manslaughter!" Hilariously, when Archie says he'll take it, the entire friggin courtroom shouts, "No, what are you, some kinda effin idiot!?" Well, not that last part, but it was clear that was their sentiment.
But part of the reason he did this was because he feels guilty leaving Cassidy alone with Andre, which he thinks makes him culpable. What an overly chivalrous moron.
Heh, did Ronnie not really figure out Hiram was doing this not to punish Archie, but her? Of course, at the same time, he had to know she was going be through with him after all this.
But new mystery! Dilton raves to Jughead about how some entity called the Gargoyle King is real, and he accidentally summoned it. Jug has other things to worry about, namely his best friends' trial, but he tells Dilton to wait at the Jones household and he can explain what the hell he's talking about later.
Dilton's gone though, with only a map with weird symbols left behind. Jughead follows it, where he finds Dilton and his friend tied up and dead (well Dilton is, looks like the friend is still clinging to life), seemingly having sacrificed themselves to the Gargoyle king.
Meanwhile, Betty sees Alice and Polly holding the twins over a fire as part of some mysterious ritual with the people from the farm (whom Betty thinks brainwashed them), and then sees her mom and sister drop the babies into the fire, only they hover.
But, that may be just an adderall overdose hallucination (having downing the stuff like crazy to keep awake while helping Archie and Josie's moms with the case), since she goes into an epileptic fit soon after. So it could just be her imagination.
