TV commentary:
The 100- Hey, its Niylah! Glad to see she's still alive. But Gaia tells Clarke she can't trust her, and in the intervening time Niylah's gotten more loyal to Octavia than her. I'm surprised their not lovers given how protective O was of her. It seems like they were going somewhere with that.
Interesting though, I never even thought that Madi being a nightblood might cause trouble for her. That new O might just kill her as a threat to her rule. I guess the threat wouldn't be from Madi herself, like she would never go against her hero, but I guess there would be pressure from some traditionalists to install her now that a true Nightblood has returned. Glad to see Gaia isn't one of those who would insist on Madi taking the throne.
But yeah, Madi ends up going to Octavia herself so Clarke won't have to flee the city with her, and O seems to take it well, is even glad to have a new protege. But I guess we'll see how things go.
Man, I appreciate Diyoza more and more this week. She's heeding Kane's advice on how to combat Octavia without resorting to killing or violence. And at least she realizes the need for the bunker people, unlike Mcreary. But then again, if he or most of these other prisoners had much sense, they wouldn't be imprisoned criminals. Glad to see he and some randos fell into Murphy and Emori's trap.
But poor Echo, because of her situation, Octavia is kinda using it to strong arm her into taking on a dangerous infiltration mission to upload a virus to allow Monty (or Raven?) to disable the eye in the sky. Pretty clever though, hiding the drive in a fellow refugees's bullet wound since one of those criminal scum was basically stealing all the valuables from the incoming refugees.
