Since you don't read gtg anymore, inquiring minds want to know how you'd do on this:

Music Quiz

Of course, all you non-Scott people can see how you fare as well.

i actually do kinda read grimstari, but not on a consistent basis...anyway, i decided to leave my guesses at a minimum, so i only answered if i was definite i knew the answer or if i had a decent guess at it--my results:

a) where i was definitely right: 60
b) where i was "definitely" right but actually wrong: 2
c) where i guessed correctly: 6
d) where i guessed incorrectly: 3
e) bonus questions i got right: 5

ultimately: 66/100, 71/110

a) 4,7,8,10,11,13,14,17,18,20,21,22,24,25,26,27,28,30,34,35,37,38,39,40,41,43,44,47,48,49,50,51,53,54,55,57,58,61,63,64,66,67,68,71,72,73,75,76,78,79,83,89,90,91,93,95,96,98,100

b)
31 - i originally wrote jobim, then scratched it out and put joao gilberto since his wife was the one who sang the song--now that i think about it, i have the friggin' jobim album that has the original version on it--arrgh!

52 - that irish club in buckhead called fado screwed me up on this one

c) 19,29,56,84,87,92,94

d)
45 - i said james lavelle, who i knew recorded as u.n.k.l.e.
77 - i said puccini, because it sounded right
80 - i said ethiopia, even though i had the feeling it was wrong

e) 1,3,4,6,10 - i thought these were actually relatively easy

so that's how i did--is that decent? they didn't have a "here's how you did" summary...

I'm assuming that's pretty good, because the highest scores I've seen on gtg are in the mid 40s.
