Just another Tuesday morning. Hit all green lights on the way to work, so got there before the morning meeting started. There was some strange tour group looking down into the fishbowl for like a half hour or something, made me a little self conscious. Don't know what it was all about, I think the people who were sitting around earlier in front of the CSC said it was some sort of field trip when I asked them. But then their group leader (it didn't look like FASET) took them to the upper hallway and was showing them the room for a while, then he took them to the outside of the other machine room, and talked a while there too. Curiouser and curiouser.

Owel, what's with all the crap they put in front of movies nowadays? I mean, I like previews, but they also have 10 minutes of commercials as well. Literally! I timed it myself the other day when I saw Bad Boys 2. The movie was at 1pm. There were commercials until around 1310, then previews until a little past 1320! They should start the commercials so they end around 1!!

there was a story in the news several months ago where someone (in france?) has sued the theaters for the discrepancy between the stated & actual starttimes--i'd like to see what happens with that...

I agree about the commericals..

now Regal Entertainment/Edward Theatres.. have basically mini TV on.. no more slide show before the previews.. now it's constant.

UGH. I thought we were late to Pirates when they did that.

Well, I call it a fishbowl because two of the walls are all glass, so you have a pretty good view of the room, especially from the rear upper hallway. Its almost like those rooms where people operate and you can have people sitting up top looking down at the operation, except the room is way huge.

Oh. I thought you were a diver at an aquarium or something. Of course, if that was the case then tourists probably wouldn't have surprised you much.
