TV commentary:
The Librarians- Well, that was underwhelming. So Baird finds the others, plants the seeds to help them remember the real world, gets captured and finds Flynn. Then they all come back together and are able to re-manifest the library using their shared belief.
So, they get back, wherein Flynn immediately uses a time machine (because, well, eff it!) where he finds Nicole Noone in the past right before she becomes immortal. He apologizes for not rescuing her, and tells her he can't rescue her. He wants her to continue her plan concerning the cornerstones, but for the library. And that convinces her. So that apparently undoes everything, and he and Baird end up back at he beginning of the season, when they were practicing the tethering ceremony.
So Jenkins is alive, Flynn and Baird tether, and basically the entire season never happened.
Arrow- Speaking of underwhelming... So with Alena's help OTA finds proof that the footage of Ollie killing Cayden James' son was faked. So they show it to him, and he believes them. Unfortunately, he looks at the metadata, and figures it was one of his colleagues. So, he's still going to try and blow the city up with the thermobaric bomb, because said colleagues are still within the blast radius.
Well, he gives Ollie the option of grabbing his people (whom he had actually abandoned as he made his escape from the city), so they can figure out who did this. Richard Dragon and Anatole are captured without complication, but Black Siren proves harder, since Dinah is out for blood.
Needless to say, she's kinda pissed at everyone when they won't let her kill Laurel. Anyways, with everyone gathered at the bomb site (including Ollie's son, because he's a dumb-ass who wants to be with his dad despite the extreme danger), Cayden makes his ultimatum, reveal who really killed his son, or he'll just blow the bomb and figure that's good enough. Hey, it'll get them all, and one of them is responsible, so therefore he'll technically have his revenge.
Laurel claims she did it, but Cayden says he knows it wasn't her, revealing to everyone he saw her face when she was ordered to kill Vince, and she clearly didn't want to do it. Anyways, chaos eventually breaks loose, they capture Cayden and disarm the bomb. Dinah faces off with Laurel, and manages to shoot her just as Laurel KOs her with a sonic scream.
But Quentin runs off with Laurel to convince her she can become good. Oh, and while Cayden is in custody, the mastermind reveals himself! And its... Richard Dragon? Seriously?! That's so boring! Apparently he did it to capitalize on the chaos Cayden would cause. I mean, given how prominently Alena featured in the flashbacks, I was thinking maybe she would be a secret bad guy, but apparently not! Well, I guess she could end up being one, but I figured we were gonna get a reveal showing she was playing Team Arrow.
