SVU- Ugh, how could they do that to Barba? This is the worst character assassination since Marcia Gay Harden's character was revealed to be a secret murderer. So, Barba freaking kills a baby to end its suffering! Seriously, he's so overwhelmed with emotion that he can't help but turn off its life support machine? That's insane!
He's found not guilty, but of course he has to resign. Like, did Raul Esparza want to leave? Or was he pushed out for that totally boring new guy?
Supernatural- Wheeling and dealing! So turns out Cas didn't kill Lucifer last ep. He wounds him, but Lucifer gives as good as he gets and KOs Cas long enough to escape. He gets some temporary grace from Cupid (or a cupid?), but its not enough. He hangs out with a homeless person long enough to hear about a faith healer named sister Jo, who seems to be performing miracles.
He goes after her, but turns out she's an entrepreneurial little angel- she's been healing peeps for cold, hard cash. When Luci goes after her, she's all, he can drink her just a little, wait for her to recharge, and drink her again, instead of just drinking her dry and looking for the next fix. They bond, with her telling him she used to be some nobody functionary back in heaven, pissed that folks like Michael and Raphael and Naomi wouldn't listen to the great ideas she had. So she was fine with the fall, because it allowed her to be something more.
Meanwhile, the boys meet back up with Castiel, get an info dump, and contact Donatello to see if he can find a similar spell to what alt-Kevin used to open a rift back to their world in the demon tablet (since their angel tablet was destroyed). Unfortunately for them, while they're off trying to find and eliminate Lucifer in what they think is a weakened state, Asmodeus happens upon Donatello getting some brain food (chicken wings!) and mesmerizes Donatello to make him tell whatever he finds to Asmodeus first.
Double unfortunately, when they finally find Sister Jo/Anael (bumping into and capturing Ketch, who's also on a Lucifer assassination mission for Asmodeus) she plays the victim and doesn't tell them she's charged Lucifer up, leading them to him and double-crossing them. Luckily Ketch recovers and escapes their trunk and tries to use the demon bomb on Lucifer, but Luci manages to teleport himself and Anael out of there.
Which brings us to all the wheeling and dealing. Ketch reveals he's working for Asmodeus, but its an alliance of convenience, he says he's perfectly willing to play double agent for Team Winchester. And why would they team up with him? Because as he points out, he's the lesser of three evils- Asmodeus, Lucifer, and Michael. He doesn't want any of them to win either, and he's in the perfect position to help.
Meanwhile, Lucifer and Anael meet up with Duma and a bunch of other angels and makes them an offer, make him ruler of heaven, with Anael as his right hand woman. Duma laughs in his face, but he tells them not only can he make new angels, he can restore their wings. So, they totally accept!
And then Ketch returns to Asmodeus, and discovers the reason he left Cas and Lucifer alone last ep was he was recovering a powerful artifact, the archangel blade, which can kill even an archangel. Ketch is all, "Don't you need an archangel for it to work?" Asmodeus is all, well its a good thing I have Gabriel! Yep, Gabriel is alive and Asmodeus's prisoner, with his mouth sewn shut so he can't do his tricks
