Star Trek Discovery- Desperate times. So the Federation is getting its ass kicked, but its so much worse because there's no rhyme or reason. Basically, in the absence of strong leadership, the various houses have just been attacking haphazardly, seeing who can cause the most casualties.
And so, Cornwall and Sarek make a deal with the Empress, and have her lead the counter attack on the Klingon homeworld, since she's cracked them before. Heh, she'll prolly beat them, but I doubt that will turn out well for the Federation in the long run. Also weird, I guess other than Cornwall and Sarek, the only one who knew mirror Phillipa was Saru, Michael, and random transporter operator? I'm surprised no one else was aware. So as far as the rest of the ship knows, the Federation rescued Phillipa from a secret Klingon detention facility and brought her back.
Anyways, Ash seems to be up and about and back to normal, thanks to L'rell's operation to stabilize him. Again, I don't think he's really Ash. He's... some entity that's part Ash, part Voq, but not really either. So Tilly is being all friendly towards him because she thinks he needs that support to prevent himself to reverting to that Voq personality.
Stamets of course, isn't so forgiving, since he murdered Culber. And neither is Michael, since he attacked her. Like I get what Tilly is saying about him needing emotional support. But it also shouldn't be on Michael to be his savior. I mean, its kinda like emotional blackmail, "Be back with me, or I might turn evil!"
