Supernatural- Dang, I thought this ep was going to be the backdoor pilot for the female hunters show, but I guess that's next ep. So Jack's been trying to find a way to reach the alternate dimension in order to get Mary back to show the Winchesters he could do good. He finds an artist who's a "dream walker", who can apparently cross dimensions astrally.
Of course, there's a fake-out where you think Jack killed this guy, but given they cut away before we see him die, and then his gf comes back to find him dead with his eyes burned out, its obvious Jack prolly left and angels showed up and killed these guys.
As we see in a later flashback, the guy told Jack about a girl, Kaia, that he'd been communicating with to help her understand and control her powers. But yeah, the Winchesters show up just as Jack finds her, and Kaia ends up escaping, only to be captured by angels later.
Jack shows the Winchesters his vision of the other reality, including their mom. So Dean is resolved to find Kaia so they can rescue their mom. The angels set up Kaia as bait, but Jack easily plows through them since there's only two.
After rescuing Kaia, she refuses to help, because she's only been able to dreamwalk to "the bad place", which can actually harm her when she's over there. But Dean needs his mommy, so he drags her along at gunpoint, and because its their mom, Sam just sheepishly goes along, not even telling Dean that this is kinda wrong.
Lucky for them, Jack manages to convince Kaia by showing he can help her drift to other, better worlds than the Bad Place (even though the world they want her help in getting isn't so great either)
They get trapped in an abandoned freighter by more angels, I guess six is considered too much for them, even with Jack. But Kaia resolves to work with Jack to jump out of there. It doesn't work out so well. Kaia can see the world Mary is in, but she also keeps getting drawn to the bad place. Combined with Jack, they end up pulsing and disintegrating the attacking angels, and she throws herself and the Winchesters and Jack all over the place.
Jack ends up with Mary, the Winchesters end up in the bad place, while Kaia does end up away from the boat and still in the real world. Which I guess she'd have to be so she can help get the ladies to Jack and the boys.
Because while all this is going on, Patience is having visions. She can't tune them out anymore, and she sees Jody and the Winchesters in trouble. So, she resolves to go help. Her a-hole dad is all, "If you go down this path, don't ever come back!"
So she comes knocking on Jody's door telling her she had a vision the boys were in trouble. So presumably Jody will call up her girls and Donna and they'll find Kaia and get the Winchesters out of their predicament?
Gotham- Well, things are set up for the second season. So Carmine shows up to take his daughter home, only he's gunned down. Everyone thinks the Penguin did it, which means of course it was Sofia.
And since Zsasz thinks Penguin did it, when Jim comes to arrest Penguin for Martin's death, when Penguin tries to be all, "Oh, I only faked his death and Victor took him out of town!" Zsasz totally turns on him and says Penguin killed the kid.
So Penguin gets thrown in Arkham, where he bumps into what's his name who's possibly Joker but I don't think the show is willing to commit to saying he is the true Joker yet.
Oh, also, apparently the Pyg has been working with Sofia the whole time, but she ends up killing(?) the guy, having served his purpose. She convinces Jim to go along with her plans and not arrest her for the stability of the city.
Bruce meanwhile fights Alfred, and when he loses, he draws up emancipation papers and fires him so he can be a party guy.
Harvey apparently quits being a cop. And Tabitha tries to make Butch remember who he is by tying him up and hitting him in the head with heavy objects a bunch of times, but eventually quits and leaves him. So of course later after she's gone is when he finally remembers!
