The Gifted- Wow, huge stuff this ep! So we find out that that Strucker last name is no coincidence. Reed is the grandson/grandnephew of Andreas and Andrea Strucker, whom comics readers know as the Fenris twins. Indeed, his dad Otto does namedrop Fenris, and warns his son that their individual powers are exactly what his children have. That he had powers. And that what he was working for at Trask was a way to eliminate the X-gene. And he was able to do it once, on Reed!
But yeah, Otto warns Reed that his children could become monsters like their great granddad and aunt. Which the way Andy acts when someone gets in Lauren's face, he does appear to be going dark. Also, heh, the pics we see of Andreas and Andrea, they seem rather... close. Heh, who is Otto's mother? Anyways, I guess Otto wasn't lying about the family's strength, since Otto was able to use his powers despite Pulse having his dampening field going.
Interesting though, one of the random characters we meet is a telepath named Esme. Is she one of the Stepford Cuckoos? They also mention the Kick drug. Which speaking of, it looks like Sentinel Services keeps these mutants in line by keeping them addicted to drugs.
And heh, I guess Clarice comes to an understanding with Dreamer, since when she was going crazy with the portals in the beginning, she inadvertently led Sentinel Services to her foster parents, who got killed. And the little mutant girl with them now has nightmares about the event. So Clarice gets Dreamer to take those horrible memories from the girl.
Anyways, I'm actually excited about this whole Strucker storyline, was kinda annoyed that the ep ended before Reed got he chance to tell everyone what he learned.
