TV commentary:

The Punisher- Caught the first ep so far. Heh, so I read a reviewer who was saying to accept violence in a TV show or movie, the bad guy has to be depersonalized, or there has to be a compelling reason for them to choose murder as an option. So they said that in the context of being uncomfortable with Frank killing the construction workers at the end.

And I'm like, I read that before seeing the first ep, and honestly, when they first introduced those guys and their first interaction with Frank, I was like giddy in anticipation for him to kill them. Fronting all, "you wouldn't want me as an enemy?" and its like who even are you, you're some effin nobody. Which, heh, I guess that does make me sound a little psycho.

I will say, it was dissatisfying when they did clash. Again, I know I'm prolly going to come off a little crazy here, but if the scene did play out like it did earlier, with them acting all cocky and tough then trying to take on Frank and thinking he's retarded or something, then I would've cheered as he took them out. But as it was, it just came off as Frank going overboard on a couple of dumb morons. Like they weren't as rage inducing in that moment as they were earlier.

Heh, I know earlier, they just stepped on his sandwich, and here they were about to kill a dude, but they were just acting like guys freaked out if they didn't kill this guy, the Gnuccis were going to kill them horribly. I guess if they acted more cocky when trying to kill Donnie, then I would feel fine about Frank going off on them.

As for the mobsters at the end, of course he had to slaughter them all, Donnie's grandma lives with him, he couldn't let those guys come over and possibly hurt her!
