Shannara Chronicles- What does this show think it is, Game of Thrones? Lot of wonton death throughout these past few eps. Including children! And not even like a cut-away, you don't see it happen, but a second later, you see their corpse, these are brutal onscreen deaths!
But heh, if Flick was going to sacrifice himself so he wouldn't be used as a bargaining chip, why draw it out and wait until Wil actually had the freaking thing Bandon needed right there. As it is, it kinda rendered his sacrifice moot since Bandon gets the skull anyways!
Interesting though, will there be any consequences to Wil and Mareth's time travel? It does seem like they made subtle changes to the timeline.
Even more interesting, we find out what that mark on Eretria's shoulder is- she's half-demon. Which means she can be susceptible to demon control. So Cogline is trying to get her ready to fight against any attempted demonic control. Though given the various visions we see, she might be getting controlled at some point.
But yeah, I was shocked they killed Ander. Particularly since it was right before he and Lyra got married. Like if he died right after the ceremony, Lyra would have command of the elven armies, but now its in flux. Or maybe that's the point, it makes things harder politically.
Supernatural- I was going to call shenanigans, but I guess the show did get things right. So Billie is the new Death, because apparently after you kill Death, the next Reaper to die takes his place. Which I was skeptical, because I totally thought Tessa died after they killed Death, but her death did predate his. I am a little surprised no other Reaper died during all that time, because this show has always had a pretty high body count, and with all the threats out there, it seemed like it would have happened in the 2-3 seasons that elapsed after Death's death.
Also, did the Reapers know that was the rule? Or did Billie just learn of it when she became new Death? Because if that was a known rule, surely some Reaper was power hungry enough to get themselves killed to take up the mantle.
Gotham- Lots of reluctant taking of roles. I guess part of it is Harvey being a drunk, but that seems like BS that he takes offense at Jim taking the captaincy from him. He freaking admitted not a few seconds earlier that he was doing a really shitty job and couldn't handle it. He's going to fault Jim for taking over?!
And oddly enough after some craziness with the Sirens trying to kidnap Nygma for Penguin because of his "Comedia Del Arte" at the fight show poking fun at Penguin, Lee is now the leader of the Narrows. She's shocked, but as Nygma tells her, she heals them and their kids, stopped Firefly when she attacked, and if she doesn't take the spot, someone worse could get it. So she seems to accept.
Tabitha also finds out Butch is alive, and he may starting to get his memory back.
