TV commentary:
Shooter- Heh, pretty tricky, show! So the random delivery man seemed suspicious. I mean, they even shot it that way, where you're unable to see his face as he drops the box off, to make you think something insidious is happening.
And then when Isaac and Bob Lee were attacking Solotov, the scene was intercut with shots of Julie picking it up and slowly getting ready to open it, and they were playing somber music. Like they made you think it was a bomb. But nope, its just the paper towels she ordered. I mean, I guess the twist was that the bomb was in the trailer Solotov was in, and Bob Lee just narrowly stopped Isaac from getting blowed up. But I'm amused the show acted like it was being prosaic, but didn't go where you were expecting.
But yeah, Bob Lee is just some dude. Its like the crap he was pulling in Germany, where he and Colin just broke into that one apartment, found the corpse, and took off, like that wouldn't screw up the forensic when the German police went to investigate. At least last year, his shootouts were in remote areas. Here he and Isaac are freaking shooting it out with Solotov in the middle of a trailer park like its the freaking OK Corral. He's not worried about the police? Its not like he's a government agent, so its not like he has the authority to just try and take out some assassin!
The flashbacks were interesting though. That's pretty ballsy of Solotov. I mean, he's supposed to be the "greatest shot in the world" (better than Swagger?) its surprising he didn't try to snipe her, and instead freaking went undercover amongst Bob Lee's unit, set up an ambush, and then knifed her in the chaos.
But Bob Lee's partner caught a glimpse, and kicked up a fuss. Hmm wonder if that's why Solotov snipes him later when we thought he was trying to take out Bob Lee back in Afghanistan.
Hopefully they'll explain it more, because it can't just be they know what Solotov looks like. I guess Nadine knows now too. I mean, honestly, Bob Lee and his unit seem like a bunch of normal, everyday dudes, unconcerned with all this shady crap. (well, except for Isaac, but he was on the run, hiding out) They were prolly in no position to expose Solotov.
Well, until he sent a bunch of randos to kill them! Heck, they didn't even know he WAS Solotov until they confronted him and Nadine showed them a sketch and they finally remembered, "Oh yeah, he was that fake UN doctor!" It seems to me if Solotov just left him alone, they would be none the wiser.
