Beat all the levels in the katana only challenge. Man, some of those levels are brutal when you can't shoot, forcing you to get creative:



So basically, I drop down, toss the katana at the guy with the assault rifle, hot switch into the guy to his right, grabbing the sword right as it kills assault rifle guy, then quickly using it to kill other shotgun guy. Then, I have to book it to the other end of the car, toss the katana into shotgun guy, somehow manage to quickly move into the car without getting shot by pistol guy, grab my sword from the floor and kill him. Then I end it by hotswitching into the guy at the end with the assault rifle.

I loathe beating the last guy that way though, it seems cheap to beat a level by hotswitching into the last guy. Also I am shocked the pistol guy never fires off a shot before I'm able to grab the sword and kill him.

Then again, I've learned you are deceptively fast, take the dreaded elevator level for example:



I'm shocked that I'm actually able to kill all three guys in the elevator before they get off a shot, and then quickly rush out and kill the two shotgun guys before they shoot also. Also, its kinda funny seeing these clips in real time and seeing how little time actually elapses when you're not experiencing time dilation.

Anyways, the other challenges I've unlocked so far are interesting:

-AD2013: the description says play the game like its 2013, which has me wondering if there was an earlier version of this game. Anyways, punches auto-kill, but there's no melee weapons and no "throwables". Not sure what the latter exactly means though, because I had actually misread the parameters and though all you could do was punch, I only realized you could still use guns after a few levels. So I dunno if you can at least toss guns, or only once you're out.

-Ghost: Another one where melee punches are auto-kill. You can hotswitch from the very beginning, but can't use guns.

-Hotswitch: You can just hotswitch from the beginning.

-Fullstop: Time actually stops when you're not moving. However, enemies bullets move faster, and any gun you pick up only has one shot.

-Throwing: You can't shoot, but tossing a weapon is automatically lethal. Also, it takes 5 punches to take out an enemy instead of 3.

-Bare hands: All you can do is punch, you can't pick up weapons. And unlike ghost or AD2013, you still need 3 punches to kill an enemy.

There are some other challenge mods I haven't unlocked yet. But there's also endless mode, which as I've mentioned before is you're dropped in a specifically designed area, and you just play until you die. Enough kills unlocks three other modes for a specific area. There's a timed mode where you see how quickly you can kill 20 guys. There's one where you see how many you can kill in 20 seconds of game time (i.e., the time that elapses when you actually move), and one where you can see how many you can kill in 60 seconds of real time.

So yeah, several arenas x four modes, plus all the challenges, there's tons to do in this game once you beat it. Well, if you're someone who just likes mindless killing.
