Jul. 15th, 2017 05:37 pmBack in the ATL after the annual HH trip. Its kinda annoying that on the way home, things flow smoothly for most of it (save for the occasional torrential downpour) but as soon as I hit 75/285 things grind to a halt. I shoulda been back before 2pm, but was stuck in traffic for an hour.
TV commentary:
Killjoys- Ah, finally, they address that! I guess it was the season premiere where D'av hops into one of the newly found ships and goes who knows where? And they like never address it for the next couple of episodes, so I thought, did I imagine that? Was that not D'avin?
But finally they reveal he met Frankie from Degrassi, whose eyes were all stitched up, but does not remember. Also, it still weirds me out when Degrassi actors are on these shows. (Drew, Marisol, and Anya on Lost Girl, Zig and now Frankie on Killjoys) I mean, they're all Canada. But I think of them as kids, so I think, why is there some kid in this?
Heh, sounds like I'm not the only one who thinks that Zeph chick is kinda hot. There's just something about her.
And, Delle Seyah is totally into Dutch, right? I mean, she's flirted with Dutch, but part of me thinks she woulda cared less about this Hullen thing if they're leader wasn't the spitting image of Dutch.
Dark Matter- ojv('Man, its obvious!') As soon as the Raza crew kept asking Six about the location of the summit, I knew that he was in some sort of simulation trying to be interrogated to learn where the summit is.
Its just too bad for those guys Six has those memory blocks, which kinda threw a wrench in their plans since whenever he opened up a lost memory, it was an indicator he was still under. Interesting, so he's married to what's her name from WH13, and has a kid. Turns out after that big disaster where he accidentally helped blow up that one ship, killing thousands of people, he wanted to go undercover again and continue his work, even though everyone wanted him to retire.
So in the end, his ex-partner showed him she'd moved on, but she was safe and happy, which is all that matters to six.
Oh, pretty clever him doing the switcheroo. As soon as the one guy asked for their coordinates so they could pick up Six's body, I was all, "Oh, Six somehow turned the tables on them!"
Interesting, what's going on with Three's gf? It sounded like the story was she turned him from the cold, unfeeling prick he was to a better man, which I always thought was weird, because it seemed like for most of the crew, pre-memory loss them were kinda dicks. But that relationship implied that he was already on the path of good.
But now it seems there's more to the story? Like Sarah is just slow playing him for some sorta revenge over something terrible he did? I mean, I assume that's what that look in bed meant, and that she was the one who took over the Android and stood over Three with a gun.
Wynonna Earp- Heh, it can't be, because the eps where already filmed, but its funny how these eps seem to answer the criticism/worries people had in previous eps. Like the whole Gooverly thing, people were expecting some sort angsty drama where Waverly didn't remember her relationship with Nicole because it was Gooverly Nicole was with the whole time.
But they have a scene where Waverly outright says, nope, all the times they were together where with Waverly, because she remembers every touch, kiss, etc.
And heh, way to fast-forward the pregnancy, by having a time demon do wonky things, but while things reset for everyone else, she was still now three months preggers!
I'm also confused, so Black Badge just picked up stakes and abandoned them, if whatever Art's name in this is to be believed. I just figured the Widows wiped them out in their escape.
