The Originals- Okay, Klaus introducing Hope to beignets was cute. As was seeing Freya and Keelin being all couple-y. Alas, those were the few happy moments we get this ep.
So the Hollow gives Vincent and the Mikaelsons an ultimatum- give her the last of the bones before sundown, or she'll take it anyways and kill them. Vincent has a plan, since Elijah is dying away, stop Inadu from using him as a sacrifice to resurrect herself and beat her to the punch and use his death to re-imprison (after using a special knife to force her out of Sofya)
Obviously, this doesn't fly with the Mikaelsons, so Freya and Vincent try to find another solution. Eventually, Freya realizes they can use the necklace she used to once carry Finn to get Elijah's soul once his body is sacrificed.
However, its deemed too risky, so Klaus volunteers to have Vincent sacrifice him instead, put him in the pendant, and hopefully cure Elijah and get Klaus out of the necklace once Inadu is defeated.
Unfortunately, things don't go as planned, as the Hollow sends her minions to stop Vincent's spell. They come with Maxine hostage, trying to prevent Vincent from continuing. Klaus and Vincent kill them all and save Maxine, but not before one of the minions destroys the thorns Vincent was going to use to sacrifice Klaus.
Marcel manages to stab Sofya and force Inadu out of her. So, she goes to sacrifice Elijah and complete the ritual right when Hayley and Freya where trying to rescue him. With plan A having failed, Freya tries to get Elijah's soul before Inadu can kill him.
Unfortunately, the amulet shatters in the middle of the dueling magic, and Inadu disappears. Klaus, Hayley, and Freya fear the worst, since Freya can't detect him. Luckily, Hope can. She touches her aunt and they have a vision of Elijah... somewhere, screaming. At least they know he's still around to be rescued.
Unbeknown to them, Inadu is reborn. Other stuff- Vincent sends the witches who haven't joined with the Hollow away from NOLA, saying he'll tell them when its safe to come back. Also, Vincent warns Marcel that while they have un-possessed Sofya, she might not be the same having been possessed by Inadu for so long.
