TV commentary:

Supernatural- Seriously?! That's how the season ends? Heh, I'm sure people are freaking the eff out! So the American Hunters triumph over the British MoL. Sam, Dean, and Toni get out of their predicament thanks to Dean blowing a hole in a wall with a grenade launcher. He injures himself in the process though.

Meanwhile, Mary had gone after Jody, but luckily with a little help from Alex, they subdue her. So while Dean and Toni (who's only helping because the BMoL effed her over- all she wants from the Winchesters is to give her a head start before they go after her) deprogram Mary back at the Bunker, Sam, Jody and some random Hunters storm the BMoL base.

Ketch shows up and kills Toni off screen while Dean and Mary are under (Dean had to enter her subconscious to snap her out of it), but Mary wakes up just in time to kill Ketch before he kills Dean.

The American hunters wipe out the Brits, with the only losses being randos. I'm just glad they didn't kill of Jody or Alex (no sign of Claire this ep). I guess they name drop Donna and Garth, so they're fine too. But yeah, Hess tries to get the Hunters to spare her life by telling them Lucifer is out. No deal though, with Jody killing Hess when she pulls a gun on Dean.

In the second ep, Lucifer kills Rowena off screen. Which seems like a BS thing to do to the character. And as suspected, Crowley had temporarily jumped into the rat and back into his body once it was disposed of.

Jack's impending birth opens a crack in space/time, to a dimension where Sam is never born, and there's a war going on between heaven and hell. Bobby is still alive there and Cas meets him.

So, the Winchesters find Cas and Kelly. Its interesting, because we still don't know if Cas and Kelly are just mesmerized, or if Jack is some kinda savior. I mean, Cas sees a future where there is no pain and suffering or conflict. But we saw that kinda future on Charmed, where its all a facade, there's no conflict because any dissent is simply gotten rid of. That might be happening here, because when Jack is born, he looks creepy as hell, with him possibly mesmerizing Sam all the while smiling an evil smile on his face. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

So the plan to get rid of Lucifer is to trap him in the other world. Firstly, Crowley kills himself since that last ingredient to seal the rift is a life. And he's tired, so I guess he's fine with dying. Of course, for some reason it takes a while to close the portal, which, that seems like a poor plan because he could've just walked out and escaped, and its only through convenient plot that he ends up getting trapped.

Like Cas I guess shows up to hold him off, but then when he walks out of the portal, he's stabbed in the back, and seemingly dead. Which, whatever, he's died a bunch of times already, I'm sure he'll be fine. Otherwise the fans will freaking flip out.

But yeah, its lucky Mary shows up with some enchanted knuckle dusters (I forget, did she take them from Ketch?) and she punches Lucifer back through the portal. Only he drags her with him. And THEN the portal finally closes. What's with the delay in the spell?!

So yeah, Crowley, Rowena, and Cas are seemingly dead, Mary is trapped in an apocalyptic world with Lucifer, and Sam has possibly been whammied by a Nephilim. I guess this show always does end in crazy cliffhangers like that.
