Watching Enchanted for the 100th time prolly as I type this, and one part that still weirds me out is the King and Queen's waltz at the ball. Don't get me wrong, its a wonderful scene that still gets me. It just, what kinda ball forces you to ask someone you didn't accompany to dance? That's friggin odd! I mean, I know why they did it, to have an excuse for Patrick and Gisele to dance with each other. It just offends me that some event is forcing one to ask some random to dance. Heh, if it was me, its like, I prolly had a hard enough time asking the person I actually took to this thing, now they're wanting me to ask yet another person?!!

TV commentary:

Master of None- Just finished the 2nd season of this show. It was pretty good. The last couple of eps were intense. Heh, I was wondering why episode 9 felt long, but that's because it was longer than normal. But argh, what does that ending mean? So Dev and Francesca have feelings for each other, though Francesca doesn't know what she wants. She can't just up her life to see where things go with Dev. Like she can't do that to Pino, because he's a nice guy. And its cool that the show doesn't make him a jerk, because that would be too easy. Like the worst he could be accused of is being a little too into work.

Heh, of course, he looks villainous to me because he was the bad guy in John Wick 2. But yeah, to be fair, "he's a nice person who doesn't deserve this" is never a good reason to stay with someone if that's your only reason. Dev accuses her of using him, that her relationship was dying, and he was someone she could escape with for a while.

But of course, she (and Arnold) bring up some good points. What if she does choose Dev? How would that relationship go once the reality sets in? They had some good times, but for them to really be together, she'd have to pick up her life and move to NYC, and what about the shop and her grandma, and... that kid who I have no idea what their relation is. Nephew? But I digress.

And they don't even get into the fact that since she's not a foreign natural, its no easy task being able to stay for an extended period. Heh, although its funny she was all, "Its not easy to just decide to pick up everything and go to another country!" when that's exactly what he did at the end of last season. To his credit, he doesn't try to throw that in her face.

Though that ending. Does she choose him? Is it a weird flashback to the night she was snowed in at his place? If you ask the actress who plays Francesca, she thinks she did choose him, but that look they give each other signifies they're not 100% happily ever after. They're prolly dealing with the very real obstacles they knew were going to happen.

If there is a third season, it will be interesting to see where they go from there.
