Agents of SHIELD- Pretty good ep! Let's get the cute stuff out of the way first, because this ep is full of angst and drama. So Phil is acting weird around May, and she senses it. Of course, he's not willing to admit he had a thing with her robot clone just yet. Hilariously, she's all, "Did I make a move on you?" which he confirms, but then she's all, "Did I try to kill you?!" And so he's all, "Yes! That is exactly what happened and nothing else!"
So May and Coulson are stuck in the underwater base, surrounded by multiple copies of The Russian controlled by his real brain. He ended up hiding his real head from Aida to protect himself from her and other enemies. They need to retake the base because they can't leave Mack. Unfortunately, The Russian was just stalling them so he and his men could pack all their stuff into the sub and blow the base up.
Aida tries to get him to stop (though it takes some coaxing from Fitz since she's afraid of dying now that she's human), all, now that she's human she's feeling regret and doesn't want to hurt the team. He's all, T-S! So Fitz implores her again, that if she's really human then she needs to save his friends.
So Daisy, Jemma, Yo-Yo and the rest of the remaining SHIELD agents show up to extract Phil and May, but they can't get back to Mack. Yo-yo's ready to run in, but Aida teleports herself, Mack, and Fitz to the Zephyr. Daisy promptly ices Aida and Fitz, and they throw her in the room back at base that prevents teleportation.
Heh, I totally forgot robot May blew up the base to protect them from the other LMD. But that also caused Talbot to freak out and presume the worst. So he shows up at the most inopportune moment with armed men all distrustful.
And what's the most inopportune moment? Well, Fitz is totally depresso, thinking things are ruined between him and Jemma forever. Aida is all, "there, there", and thinks because they shared a life together in the framework, that he would choose her, especially now that he can't be with Jemma. So he tells Aida, "There's only room in my heart for one person..." and she's all smiling and happy until he says its Jemma.
Now, Jemma had been watching this exchange from her computer pad, her heart breaking that Fitz is so crushed, so devastated that he think he's messed things up with them forever. Lucky thing too, because Aida is PISSED at Fitz. She became human for him. I guess she doesn't get just because you fall for someone doesn't mean they'll love you back.
Jemma goes to try and help him, but that's when Talbot and his men show up. Luckily, he's saved by the B-team. But unlucky for most of them and some of Talbot's men, Aida cuts through them like a hot knife through butter. Turns out she doesn't just have teleportation. She has a whole gamut of powers taken from all the Inhumans they've stuided.
But hey, Piper survived. I like the fact that she's both here and on Supergirl, so I hope she stays safe!
Anyways, they manage to escape, having explained to a skeptical Talbot what's happened. He ends up searching the rest of the base, and fortunately for him does not run into Aida and get killed. But he leaves right before Robbie teleports back into existence.
Where is Aida? She went back to the Russian, who proposes a team up. They can remake the world they want with the Darkhold. But, because all these emotions are new to her and she feels them violently, she wants to make Fitz suffer big time along the way.
Oh, and while everyone was distracted by all the craziness, Yo-yo sneaks into the Framework to try and retrieve Mack. And wakes up strapped to a table, so she's in a big mess. The only consolation is that wherever she is seems to be in the middle of being attacked, so at least no one is about to experiment on her and kill her.
