The Americans- Stan is a wild man! So his way of trying to stop the CIA from hassling Oleg is to... tell his supervisors about that one dude he murdered, and if the CIA doesn't stop, he'll go public and confess?! I guess that's one way to do things. Heh, too bad Oleg is unaware. As far as he thinks, Stan is complicit in all this.
Also, was his mom saying to do what the CIA says, by saying she did whatever it took to survive when she was in prison camp? And this is whatever it takes to survive?
But yeah, getting back to Stan, I am still suspicious of Renee. But that may be wishful thinking that she's more than she seems. It did however seem like she's very similar to Elizabeth and Phillip when they're undercover. Randomly dropping interesting anecdotes from their history to I guess really sell the cover?
Paige is gearing up to be a wild one too- so she's been babysitting for Pastor Tim. So when he and his wife are gone, she goes through their stuff, trying to find info on the lawyer who has the tape of them. She tells Elizabeth later she didn't find it, but her mom scolds her for doing something so risky.
And Paige apologizes. But then says, she was there, and Elizabeth wasn't. Which sounds like something a cocky hothead cowboy type would say. Its interesting, because I don't know whether Elizabeth is more proud or scared for Paige. Like I wanna say part of her likes that Paige is taking to this spycraft stuff naturally. But the other seems to worry about her knowing what she knows, starting to do tasks on her own.
Like in bed later, Elizabeth tells Phillip about the incident, and Phillip is upset at the dangerous gambit. But Elizabeth sees it as an opportunity to get dirt on him. Phillips not really pleased with that court of action though.
