geebsSo Mass Effect: Andromeda is out. I've been enjoying it so far. I know people complained about the facial animations and all that, and it hasn't bothered me. The only thing that I think is a little frustrating is the planet scanning, since there's more than 10 seconds of forced travel scene to watch just to move from planet to planet.
I guess the breadth of the game does seem a little overwhelming. Like trying to find materials and the whole research and development thing. I don't want to research or build the wrong things at the wrong time and waste precious research and materials.
TV commentary:
Flash- Fun ep, though even I found the end (well, not the end, the climax?) kinda ridiculous. The Music Meister put the whammy on them, not for a nefarious end, but to help them with love? Like I'm all into the stuck in a dream world where everyone thinks its a musical, that's fine. But Music Meister's ultimate plan seems kinda BS.
But, they did get to showcase the talents of the musically inclined folks of the Arrowverse. And heh, Stein and Joe being Iris' dads was amusing.
Legends of Tomorrow- Whoops! So the Legion pulls pre-Legends Snart from the timeline to join their little club, and fool Mick into thinking he's a hallucination so he accidentally gives up the Legends plan. In the end, Mick ends up reluctantly betraying the Legends and the LoD gets the spear.
Heh, Nate is all, maybe they don't know how to use it! Unfortunately, the reason they didn't face Malcolm this ep was because he was getting the book that showed them how to use it. And so they do. Which is weird, because I guess the reality they're making is a manifestation of all their wishes? Which I find off because despite their alliance, they're also all a bunch of murderous psychopaths, and I feel, their internal desires would eventually end up... conflicting.
