TV commentary:

Walking Dead- Not much to say on this ep. I guess Maggie reassures Daryl she doesn't hate his guts or anything. We get some Rosita backstory, apparently she has a bunch of different skills because she picked them up from dudes who felt they needed to protect her. And the reason she had gotten with Abraham was because he was the first one who knew she could handle herself.

Anyways, they get to the Savior's compound, and find out Eugene's now "Chief Engineer". I did crack up on his whole take on the whole Negan thing being all, "This is for Negan, which is who I also am!" making requests over the radio. So instead of sniping Negan, since they can't get to him for some reason they resolve to go in, thinking they need to get Eugene out.

Of course when they get to him, he's perfectly fine with staying there, for obvious reasons. I mean, I don't see it as necessarily a betrayal. Because its not like he turns them in, he just says they shouldn't have come, he didn't need rescuing. But like he does have a cushy life here, but its more than that. Its not like cushy life vs non-cushy life, its cushy life vs horrible death for him and people he may care about.

So the girls resolve to just charge in and take Negan out I guess. Only Sasha locks the gate behind her and tells Rosita to live, the coalition will need her. She takes off, and bumps into a mystery figure.

OUAT- Retcon! So when Rumpel defeated the ogres in the first ogre war, apparently Beowulf was part of the army, and is all offended at losing the glory to a "monster". So he ends up kidnapping some villagers and killing them with the intent of framing Rumpel. But young Bael ends up killing him to protect his father.

And the reason this never was a thing before was that Rumpel made him forget, and thus Bael thinks it was his dad who murdered Beowulf, and not just that, forgetting that Beowulf had murdered a bunch of innocents. So he thinks his dad killed a hero.

Gold tries the memory thing on his other son to make him forget the horrors of his youth that turned him the way he is, but it doesn't work. So instead, so his son won't darken his own soul, Gol steals the Blue Fairy's magic to reconstitute the sword (which was apparently Beowulf's) and put her in stasis. And hopefully he can dissuade Gideon and give Blue back her magic before his son does anything really bad.

Meanwhile, we find out why Robin stole what he did. He was hoping to leave Storybrooke so he can go out into the world and be a thief again. He's weirded out by his predecessor, leaving a legacy that he feels people expect him to live up to. Regina gives him his space, but unfortunately, the Evil Queen bites him to suck up the magic potion that backfired on him when he tried to break the barrier, and now she's back to herself. And possibly getting with Robin to be an evil version of that coupling?

Oh, and Hook intended to tell Emma about killing her dad's dad, but then she found the ring and said yes, so he chickens out.

NCIS:LA- Woah, that was a surprise! Neric is a thing now? Like people were expecting if there was any Neric stuff, it would just be for the undercover op. But nope, they defeat the bad guys, and Nell plants one on Eric. And then they almost kiss again later before they're interrupted.

I mean, hey, I'm fine with it. I'm just surprised, because I figured they would just keep it "maybe there's something there, maybe there's not, they might be really good friends, or maybe they're secretly seeing each other!" I did not expect them to run with it!
