TV commentary:

Supernatural- Heh, the Walking Dead reference was amusing, but I think they went overboard with it a little. Dean walking in with Lucille, having just used it to kill a bunch of monsters, that's funny. But then they almost ruin it by having the camera linger on it for way too long after the Winchesters leave the room. We get it, John Winchester is Negan, and this is hit bat!

Heh, Dean's acceptance of finding out Sam started working with the British MoLs make sense. Like Sam makes the point that regardless of their past issues, they've actually been a big help, giving them info to take out a whole lot of monsters in the past couple of weeks. And then their little excursion with Crowley to kill the mother of all Hellhounds has Dean thinking, they just teamed up with the literal King of Hell. So he says he can't really say anything about working with a bunch of assholes who are well intentioned, when they often team up with demons.

Speaking of, it seems like Lucifer escapes, and is ready to tear Crowley a new one, but Crowley's prepared. Not only did he place Lucifer in his old vessel, he warded it so Lucifer can't do anything to Crowley. The chair and collar were just for show, Lucifer is a prisoner in his own body.

Oh and Cas finds out Kelly is with Dagon. And an angel tells him Joshua is willing to let bygones be bygones and let Cas back into the fold in exchange for help with tracking the baby down. I guess Joshua is in charge now? It sounded like he was the one Chuck left things to, but then he also stepped aside. But with Lucifer about to have a kid, Joshua's back because they need all hands on deck?

Heh, its weird though, because Cas tells them about Dagon, but not that he's about to go back up to heaven and meet with Joshua. The weird part is that the Winchesters hear the news and are pretty chill. "Oh, Kelly is with a prince of hell, gee, that's troublesome, owel, tell us if you hear anything else!" You'd think they'd act more worried.

Riverdale- Ha, the Cooper/Blossom feud cracks me up. So one of Cheryl's minions overhears the gang talking about the recent Polly developments and tells her. So she's like calling for blood, because Polly, being an escaped mental patient, prolly murdered her brother. The families are hilariously extra, with the Blossoms showing up with their own posse when the Coopers and the gang do their own search for Polly.

And then Alice goes on TV all, "Please help find our daughter, who's preggers with Jason's child!" Which has the Blossoms changing their tune. Or at least Cheryl does. Alice it makes it clear that there's no place for Polly in their home with Jason's child. The Blossoms offer to help, but Cheryl figures out they could give a shit about Polly and just want to get their hands on Jason's baby. So Cheryl ends up warning Betty and Polly not to trust her parents and find their own way.

And so Veronica and Hermione take her in. Also being taken in? Jughead, by the Andrews. Archie finds out Jughead is homeless, so he tries to get his dad to make up with Jughead's dad. Jughead was always told that Fred forced FP out of the business, while Fred tells Archie later that its true, because FP was stealing and that was the nice way of getting rid of him without involving the authorities.

It becomes clear that FP is in no shape to hold down a job or take care of Jug, so he says he's going to fix himself while Jug stays with the Andrews. I do like that while an asshole, he's at least mournful of it. Like Fred saves Jughead because Sheriff Keller takes him in as a suspect in Jason's murder, because they found his fingerprints in the car. Which, duh, Betty and Jughead told him about it! But since Jughead isn't exactly a normal, socialable fella, he has to check that Jughead didn't go crazy and murder Jason over bullying. After all, Jug did get sent to Juvie for almost burning down his elementary school.

So yeah, Fred gives his son's best friend an alibi for the week Jason was killed, claiming he was working construction for him. Anyways, FP shows up drunk all, Jug isn't his kid to father, but as I said, he realizes what a mess he is and that Jug being in the Andrews household is what's best, until he can get better, win back his wife so she and Jellybean can come back, and they can be a family again.

Oh heh, Jughead has a weird dream where Archie calls him a backstabber because he has feelings for Betty. Which is weird, because why would Archie care? He seems to be disinterested in her, and indeed, when Betty and Jug tell Archie and Veronica that there might be something there, they're all, cool, whatevs.

Which brings us to Veronica. She and Hermione eventually make up, but not after she goes out clubbing and Hermione cancels her card on her. That's apparently their normal routine. And what club is this in this small-ass town? Like it is in the town, because Josie is all, "I'm going to call my mom, the mayor, if you try to call us out on being underage!" And what the hell, they don't recognize the mayor's daughter. One could argue, who knows the mayor's daughter, but given Josie is working on "her brand", she's been trying to get her face out there. And while that still wouldn't necessarily mean she's readily recognizable, a club owner would be more likely to encounter her face.

But I digress. Hermione and Veronica make a deal, their war is over. Hermione won't bring Fred home, but she points out that its Hiram who effed up their marriage and got arrested, and she doesn't know what this thing with Fred is, but she owes it to herself to see where it goes. So she asks her daughter to at least give her that, which Ronnie agrees to.
