Flash- Wow, Team Flash is in a terrible way. So it all starts when Barry finally find out Wally's been seeing Savitar, when no one else can. So he benches Wally, as Savitar could be messing with his head. Its gotten to Wally's head, even though he, Flash, and Jessie had been practicing to save Iris and he just got fast enough to get to Savitar. Though that seems like a faulty exercise- like are they practicing to see if Wally would be fast enough from where Barry is standing in the future to get to Iris before Savitar stabs her? But he most likely wouldn't be in that position! Like why doesn't he hide somewhere and start rushing to save her while Flash and Savitar are talking?
But I digress. He asks Cisco to vibe him so he can see what exactly happens for himself, so he knows the right moves to make. And that's when he sees in the future that Iris is not wearing the ring, which means Barry's surprise proposal was prolly about changing that circumstance. Which causes friction between Barry and Iris. Also, they discover Caitlin has a piece of the stone, because she was hoping it could cure her of her powers.
Which cause problems between her and Julian, because now he thinks she's just using his metahuman expertise to figure out how to get rid of her powers, and that's the only reason she invited him on the team and got close to him. Anyways, Savitar's plan ends up being pretty ingenious. So Barry tossed most of the stone into the speed force. Which is where they (sans Wally and Jessie) figure out Savitar had been banished to. Thus, he has most of what he needs to escape.
And that's where Wally comes in. Savitar messes with his head, and so, Wally, determined to not let Savitar escape, steals Caitlin's piece of the stone, and throws it into the speed force. Thus unknowingly giving Savitar the last piece he needs to escape. And so Savitar uses it to switch places with Wally, and now he's trapped in the speed force instead.
So yeah, its a sad day all around for the team, and honestly it seems like the trust has been broken even worse than when Barry kept flashpoint a secret. Because its not just his lie, everyone kept their own little secrets, contributing to Wally's fate and Savitar escaping. Also, I get Jessie is Wally's gf, but its weird she had the most emotional response compared to his father and sister! I mean, I guess its that they've sadly gotten more used to loss than she has, but you'd think they'd act a little more emotional at seeing their son/brother being sucked into the speed force. I guess it could be shock.
Legends of Tomorrow- Heh, weirdo! So the team manages to unbrainwash Rip, who ends up kissing a human version of Gideon in his mind. Which she remembers in the real world, so its like, do he and his ship and have a thing for each other?
But interesting, Ray warns Nate about his burgeoning relationship with Amaya. And its not out of jealousy. He breaks it to Nate that eventually Amaya has to go back to the real world and live out her life and have the present day Vixen as a granddaughter, because Mari's helped and saved a lot of people, like Team Arrow. If Amaya doesn't go back, they could undo all the good she's done. And he tells Nate he can't tell her about her future, because Mari grew up in foster care in America because her village was destroyed. I'm not sure if Ray knows for sure, but the implication is that the destruction of the village and the fact that Mari has the totem is that things don't go well for Amaya in that situation.
Other stuff, Mick of all people tells Martin he needs to stop babying Jax. Mick says his partnership with Leonard worked because they trusted each other. Martin is skeptical at first because look what happened to Snart. But that's kinda Mick's point. He points out that Stein is "no spring chicken" and eventually he'll be gone. He needs Jackson to be able to stand on his own. He's a grown up! And Stein needs to stop stifling him out of fear. And so Martin gets the message.
