TV commentary:

Supergirl- Heh, I was totally confused at first! When Alex was all, "One Week!? Crap, the Barenaked Ladies concert!" I was thinking, wait, did the one Martian go to the concert with Maggie in her place? That's weird! But I realize now the conversation Alex had with Maggie where the latter told Alex to talk to Kara was before the concert.

Though if that was the case, why the hell did she change into her uniform just to talk to Kara? It does not make cents. In any case, its cool they brought Vasquez back (I'm amused she essentially plays the same character on this and AoS), and she didn't randomly get offed by the White Martians.

The Mon-El/Kara stuff, its a little unfortunate the way they've been portraying it. Though I guess the show is just following the normal plot progression of these things, and in this day and age, people are starting to recognize the problematic parts and calling it out. I mean, it was obvious the way Kara and Mon-El hated each other in the beginning that they were high likely going to be love interests. But I think a lot of potential straight relationships on TV fall into the hetero-normative trap, where they don't "show", they just expect the audience to accept that they could be love interests solely because she's a girl and he's a guy.

I mean, I guess Kara might actually have feelings for Mon-El that she had been sublimating and couldn't admit to herself. But the way it played out in the show, he puts on the line, she says she loves him, but not in that way. Then he's all sad, and Kara's sad that he's sad, so it basically comes off like he guilt tripped her into liking him. I don't think that's the intention, but it feels like that because they didn't do a good job of showing she likes him other than "he's the only available male lead since she already rejected Jimmy and Wynn".

APB- Oh, I didn't know Caitlin Stasey was going to be in this! Alas, she does not use her native Aussie accent, which is disappointing, because there's nothing about her character so far that says she can't be from Australia. Anyways, this show is okay, it has the fortune of being on at Monday at 9pm, and I don't have anything else to watch between Supergirl and Timeless.
